The Night of the Rabbit

Good game, but...

Beautifully drawn game, great story and nice soundtrack. The progression through is sometimes very tedious - there is no logic in what you need to do. I was stuck multiple times and had to google. Also the game feels very long for this kind of game. Also hearing the same lines over and over is annoying and also somehow the dialogue is very slow, there are unnecessary gaps. It is a shame that the gameplay puts this game down, otherwise it would be great.

Dagon: by H. P. Lovecraft

Nice visual novel

I really enjoyed the experience, the narrator is good and art style perfect (especially the sea creatures). The atmosphere is sufficiently eerie and disturbing. I did not find even half of the collectables, so I will go back. I found them quite interesting.

地狱之刃:塞娜的献祭

Atmospheric game

Good game, I liked the anxious atmosphere and the visuals. The storytelling is great, the actress knocked it out of the park. The experience is very intimate and intense, you feel Senuas disturbed mind and deep dispair. But also the will to continue on her journey, even if nothing makes sense and seems pointless.

巫师3:狂猎-年度游戏版

After all these years...

Yeah.. I am a bit late to the party, so what can I say... Get the complete edition (and some vacation). The story and the characters will suck you into the world of strange creatures and monsters, both human and non-human. Your decicisions will have unforeseen consequences. The world is visually stunning, but dark and you can do only so much to make a difference. Also, do not skip Gwent, in the end I loved it (although normally I hate card games with a passion).

The Whisperer

Not much of a game...

I got it for free, so I am not disappointed, but I do not recommend paying for it. The game is very short (and I managed to get still stuck). It is only an introduction to a story, which might be really interesting but is just not there. The atmosphere is good, creepy and dark, but the set ups do not pay off, there is no resolution.

Trüberbrook

I quite enjoyed it, but...

I see the reviews are mostly negative, but I quite enjoyed the game. I liked the story and the ironic (and absurd) humor. The soundtrack and visuals are great. I did not encounter any bugs. The solutions sometimes did not make much logical sense, and I got stuck 2 or 3 times. I have to mention, that I did get the game for free, so my views might be skewed by that. All in all, I recommend you give it a try when it is on sale, for a few hours of casual fun.

SOMA

What makes us human? Indeed, what...

I thought that this game will be some cheap gore horror game, but I was so wrong! It has an intriguing story, beautiful visuals (I particularly liked the underwater environments) and it brings out some pretty deep philosophical questions. The horror is not so much on the physical level (yes, there are monsters; but for me there was something worse). The true horror is psychological and it gradually rises as you play through the game and realize the truth of your existence and of the mankind. Not that the visuals are lacking, the weird organic growths overtaking the human bodies are a thing to behold and turn your stomach. The ending was maybe a bit rushed in my opinion, a lot of things happening in a quick succesion, but still very powerful. I really recommend this game.
