Mini Metro

Can be relaxing, can be challenging

Its nice to calm down, but it also can provide quite a challenge as the city enlarges over time.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition

Its challenging, interesting & relaxing

There are only a few games that have drawn me into their world as much as KCD. On one side we have a wonderful story with quite some surprises. The sidequests along the way also feel very natural, and all of them integrate so well into the world, that it would sometimes be hard to tell if it its a sidequest, a main quest or just a random situation you walked into. The combat is challenging at first - but this is kind of the whole point about this game: You start as a young nobody who is lucky enough to survive, and who stumbles into situations just way too big for him to handle. Slowly you get chances to improve your skills a bit as the story progresses. And this is good! It really sells the story. And if you need just some time to relax while its rainign outside: Come take a walk through the woods of KCD, which really sell the feeling of beeing out in nature like no other game i have played before.

Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew

Perfect Gameplay

Compared to Desparados III wich was absolutely perfect, they tried a new concept here with an "open world" and a lot of characters to choose for your crew. This works exceptionally well, choosing only one different character can change the whole experience of going though a chapter. The only problem i see is quite natural to open worlds: The story has to be more generic - it is still good, but not quite as catching as what we saw with desperados III oder shadow tactics (both from the same studio). However, this is still a really good game which gave me lots of fun!

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun - Aiko's Choice

Another Part of the Story

I loved Blade of the Shogun and Desperados III and its extensions - so this addon so far delivered exactly what i expected (Played the first map - tried to be clever and get a few achievments i expected to be there - and got tricked, so i came out with none instead of the one achievement everybody should normally walk out of this with ;-) Trying to collect the achievements is actually something quite joyful in these games, where you have to play a totally different style to get them, instead of the standard "just run over the map and collect things/fights". And the first time you play a level, you dont know what the achievements are, they will just be reveiled after the first time you play it. And i like it. The first time you concentrate on the story and finding your way around the map. And if you want to replay, you know the possible achievements and can try to get some, which will (as said before) lead to a totally different playing style. @AGlezB: The camera is not locked to 4 angles, you can hold down ALT and move the mouse to get any angle you want.

Dorfromantik

Challenging & Relaxing at the same time

This game has the perfect balance between a totally relaxed atmosphere and tasks that are still interesting enough. You can ignore a task for some time to relax, but it will propably come back if you dont think about what you do. Very fun, nice music, nice graphics. Highly recommended after a day of hard work, where a shooter or strategy game might not be what you are after!

Desperados III Digital Deluxe Edition

Fun & challenging tactics with story

I loved Shadow Tactics from them, and i love Desperados 3. The game can be everything from easy to "i will need multiple hours to figure out how to master that level". I played it on "hard" and enjoyed every moment of it. The music is great, the characters are interesting and the story is also pretty good with some unexpected turns. The level characters evolve throughout the story, and so does the music. This gives a very positive "i know that melody, but it also sounds new and fresh" feeling, especialy when the comments of the characters change. The voice acting in the german version is near perfect. Desperados 3 additionally features "The Barons Challenges" which are way more fun than i thought - every time, the game mechanics are changed i a weird way and you have to fullfill some creative tasks on the known maps, for example only using evironment kills, clearing a whole map with firearms but without starting an alarm or freeing a character just with animals.
