I decided to let my colonists have kids to increase my population. On turning 3, the first child was already unhappy due to not having eaten any human flesh. I have high hopes for him. I'm enjoying Biotech so far. Although it's been taking a little while to get used to and learn my way around the new content, I don't know yet how much of it I'll use every play through.
I first purchased into PN a while back. Arguably I missed the point and potential back then, although I did put some hours into it. This time around, I'm badly addicted. Once I got a construction project in mind its been hard to quit. My take on this game is, yes its got some bugs and polishing issues, especially in the performance department (particularly where moving around at speed is concerned, which you kinda want to do in a free roaming, giant gameworld with aircraft) BUT being able to make a freakin' flying fortress that is completely customizable really makes up for a lot. Then not paying attention to what you're doing and crashing into a forest, or deciding modifying your engines mid flight is a good idea leads to some very entertaining mishaps (stuff is hard to navigate when you're walking on the ceiling!) Plus I do enjoy finding exploits in the way the physics work and abusing the hell out of them for my own purposes.. My suggestion would be to test PN out before buying if possible to make sure you're okay with how it runs. If you can overlook the imperfections it's hugely rewarding. Keep up the good work Craneballs!
