Some time issues with getting controller to work, and ingame, for much of it, game is too 'zoomed in' without any way to zoom out(even 25% more zoom out would be nice tbh, think old zelda screens from original zelda game, and imagine your zoomed in to 50% of that screen size... that is about what u stuck at)
I really wonder who designed this dlc, does NOT have the vibe of the main game at all, so many really weird puzzles, much wasted time trying to find the solutions, often bugging out so u end up having to google the solutions anyways, find out u WERE Doing it correctly, but the game decided to bug out, many 'blocked' areas when using new teleport skill (when not actually blocked, just angle of camera) - constantly zooming back in, but u NEED to be zoomed out to even see where to go, and on top of it all (more bugs) constant 'wrong alignment' when trying to cast any kind of healing... on a character u let the damn AI build (So was NPC with his own alignment and only spells selected for him) And not a tiny bit of fun. DID NOT enjoy it one bit. Really felt like a 'bad dream' thing (which is what I am going to head cannon my experience of it lol) Very, VERY glad I never paid full price for this. Again - Main game is TOTALLY WORTH IT. but this dlc is not. (You can prob buy main game + though the ashes and ignore the rest to save a few bucks) Only reason u would want THIS turd is for the DLC items u can get from it, and if u are ok with a little editing, u can just give your characters those items with toybox. Don't bother with DLC.
Other than the crashing, the game is fun, a seamless move from the first one(which I also own) and I decided to buy both games on GoG to support the devs (so they maybe upgrade all the other dah games too) But this crashing BS @ the bongwater fight (no way to prevent crash, trust me, tried everything) and the exact same crash on various cut-scenes and anywhere there is 'smoke' or 'fog' (i think its a gpx memory leak issue related to the fog particle physics) I refunded both games, but am buying it again now in the hopes they fix it (while it is still on sale) and am just really hoping the issue is fixed inside the 1 month 'window' you have to return. update on 23/01/02 seems to have fixed it, game seems to run smooth now, at least not with constant un-avoidable crash at bongwater.
