Been putting it off for a while, but now that I started it, it's so so addictive. Very good old time dungeon crawler with modern QoL. It's very straightforward and easy to understand, the dungeons are well done and don't waste your time. Exploration is encouraged, itemization is pretty well done and combat is simple but not boring.
I really don't get why everyone is expecting a single game to be The Witcher 3 + Skyrim + GTA V + any complex multibrach visual novel ever, all in one game. This game is not that. This game is the Cyberpunk RPG it promised it would be. The gameplay is fun, the world is brimming with life and color, the characters are CDPR quality (that is, they're three-dimensional people with personalities and desires and such...), the voice acting is great, the game is engaging. I feel like people have really shifted in expectations and what exactly they review games on... Yes you will encounter visual bugs once in a while, yes I got stuck in between two props ONCE in 10+ hours, but these are things which happen in any game of any scale. Certainly nothing of interest and certainly things that of less magnitude that the bugs present in other games of this genre and scale. Just play it, see if you HAVE FUN with it, see if the gameplay and the story/characters draw you in, because that's what's most important. But if what matters to you is how complex the options menu is and how you can't have GTA V and Skyrim both in one game...well, perhaps you should give this one a pass.
