That is paradoxal that a game talking about time travel get so bad with the ages ! I remembered it as a not so bad game but replaying it was painful, especially bugs and savegames system make it so annoying. Apart from that , Daikatana is not so bad !
A shadow warrior reboot ? Pfff it will probably be as every reboot ... Let's try it ! Ah ! I was sure : Wang has nothing in common with the original, let see the gameplay, Hay, combats are quite nervous ... Oh but this story is good too, Dialogues are very fun, but Eh humour is good enough too, Hoho wang is getting cool to me ! Hey I like this reboot !
Playing iron storm in 2014 make it a bit disappointing. I only played the first level back in 2002 and found it very nice, WWI has not many time been used for video game setting. The universe looks good even if it's not really developed and there are some goods ideas, but so many thing are illogical and artificial that the game is sometime a pain !
Deponia was very good, so I started the second one without doubts, huge mistake ... No I'm kidding ! Chaos on deponia is even better than his predecessor ! Graphics are good, animations are good, jokes are very good, storyline is nice, puzzles are hard enough to make my brain smoke without burning it ! And once again Daedalic made me feel many emotions in a raw. Indeed, Chaos on deponia is not only funny, it possesses deeper levels that may teach good lessons to us all !
When I was young I used to play two great shooters : Raptor and Tyrian, The last is simply the most complete and original shooter I ever played, even japanese famous shooter never reach Tyrian 's quality ! Funny, hard enough, many modes, everything we want from a shooter !
I nearly started video games with monkey island, and it's impossible for me to talk about Deponia without quoting monkey island ! Rufus, the main character, is the same kind of loosy dreamer as Guybrush. Deponia is a modern monkey island with an original setting and excessive "what the fuck" humour. So fun that we want to try anything before doing the right thing, just to listen to Rufus sarcasms or egocentric remarks. By the way the English voices are perfect ! Beyond the fun there are many emotions, and moral questioning that make the game even more interesting ! Sorry for that but I used to thing (as a pretentious Frenchy) that Deutsch do not know how to tell a story, Daedalic made me so wrong one time with "the whispered world", and this is the second time with Deponia !
For most people, Raptor is a terrifying dinosaur, for me it will always be that badass fighter. I used to play this game when I wasn't smart enough to use correctly money and so I found the game quite difficult which wasn't a big deal because graphics and designs were so cool! When I reinstalled this 2010 edition I was still finding the graphics and the designs so good but this time I was able to buy those destructive twin lasers and kick ass of those so well designed alien fighters ! This one is one of the best shooter I have ever played, it's probably because I played it when I was young. Musics are still carved on my soul and designs still inspire me ! This game is good !
I played the french version, this is important as the localization is quite horrible. Two worlds II is not a bad game but it's not a good one either. Graphics and designs are quite good, story is classical and not very well executed. I did not used a lot alchemy which looks good enough, magic is not bad too even if I would like more diversity and specificity. The extension as more charm and some quests are nicer. All of that does not make two worlds II a great game but it's not a bad way to spent time waiting for witcher III !
This game is really poetic ! To be honest this is the only game that make me cry at the end !
