This game is a straight up Visual Novel with a few choices here and there along with some interaction options. But the story's driving force is based on the movie "Groundhog Day" where the day keeps repeating for some unknown reason. Your character notices this and starts doing whatever he can to get interact with as many women as possible and get in their pants. It can get a bit repetitive, but luckily the game lets you skip repeat dialogue with a simple menu option and you never notice it. There is also no previous or back button to go backwards in dialogue in case you missed something or messed up a choice, I found that annoying at first, but the skip repeat dialogue and repeating day makes it manageable. There is a bonus xmas event which is like a "what-if" story which was kinda neat. Story was fairly interesting, but the best part is the ending and the main character's reaction after all the events unfolded was priceless. I give it a coom / coom.
I did not expect to like this game at all since I saw it as just another match 3 game, but damn they make you think of strategies with the date gifts that act as power ups, because each time you finish a date, the required score to beat the next one goes up. It was fairly fun and good length, took me about 12 hours to finish. I had to lookup how to unlock the last 3 girls since they were hidden, well, 2 were and one required you to sleep with every other girl. I can see why this game would kind get banned, there is one character that is questionably 18, because its a cat girl that states her age is "1 in cat years" which is 15 in human years.... so... yeah, not the most comfortable with that, people can argue about "if she is 1 cat year and x months she is 18." but that was not written anywhere and is borderline not a good move to have in a game. That aside, I did like the constant feedback system of using money to get hunie to get power ups to get more money and keep that cycle going as it keeps increasing. Not much on the gooner side as it is just the final date night that has nudity, but you also have to download the uncensored patch from the dev website. I give it "one of the better match 3 games / coom"
This one was fairly short for a playthrough, just a vn with multiple endings where you are a frog turned human that must marry a princess. It had only one RPG mechanic of having to raise stats to unlock certain routes and to basically not die during certain events. The game does carry over your stats in a run which is convenient and helps with obtaining multiple endings. There was surprisingly little nudity in this game, you see it in the beginning, in one-two scenes in the middle, depending on who you went for, and then each ending. The game does offer harem routes where you can end up with multiple wives in different combinations or all of them of course. There is a DLC which I did not play. All in all, the game was short but fairly good, though I do think the fairy queen route is a bit strange.
This game was meh, story is odd, but you can guess that from the title. But not odd in a fetish way just odd, its about college students using the app fetish locator to find people that are into similar things every day as they get an alert for the daily challenge, each one being weirder than the last, like one of the later ones is "Enema" then there are some of the voluntary weird things like drinking piss, or the strange reoccurance of your character doing lewd stuff with your sister and your character's friend dating their own sister. The story eventually starts to lean into the app being malicious as it acts more like unwanted malware that you cant remove and eventually stoops to black mailing people. Odd game, i give it an "eh / coom"
A lot of goon and a tone of story and dialogue, I like the stupid jokes in this, its that dumb college humor and it gets me every time. The story was pretty interesting, guy goes to college, has no idea what he is getting into, ends up joining a fraternity that has him accomplish some ridiculous tasks that no one in the right mind would do in a week, most of them are sexual of course. The girls are interesting and have their own character and story arcs which was cool to see, makes me want to play season 2 now or even just do another play through. I was surprised with how good the writing was, I never expect good writing from an adult game, but damn, this stuff was pretty good. There are optional mini games you can do, but you have to decide at the beginning if you want to do them and cant change once you select your option until you do another run or reload a save before you chose. I hated the mini games, the tennis one was fine, but the cursor maze, and the fighting quick time events were a pain, and that god damn shuffle puzzle you get to do every free roam, that stuff drove me up a wall, I hated it so much. I also did not like the details on Maya's hands and feet, it was like someone was trying to add more of the textured lines of skin on her fingers and feet, but it just made her look like she had the hands and feet of a 60 year old. Besides that, the girls were great, a lot to goon to. I give it a surprisingly good story and a "coom / coom."
I finished "Helping the Hotties" from that GOG bundle. I was pleasently surprised by how good of a Visual Novel the game was. Its not perfect, but the writing was much better than I expected and it wasn't all just, "ah yes, girls are here at this camp for the mentally ill and you are here to give them their medicince, nice hard d***." It was actual issues that required therapy, 2 of the girls were there at their choice, 1 was sent by family, 1 was sent with a court order. And believe it or not, you actually help them with their problems without f****** them, you still can of couse, so I did. kek. It has the branching paths like any VN would have, and boy does it have them, there are a ton of different paths. I kept trying to keep up with them all but just said "eh" it after I though i had them all synched up and then got like 3 different interactions because of pathing choices deeper in. The mini games were terrible though, click on objects to remove them, or trace your mouse inside the path and dont go outside the lines, terrible. They do offer collectibles in the scenes where you may see someone's panties and you can get a screenshot of them as a reward. All in all it was a surprisingly good game, much better than what i expected out of a gooner game. I give it a "surprisingly good coom / coom" Also, because the H scenes take a while to get to they give you this xray option to see the woman in lingerie or nude. There are some scenes that are replicated by mistake, such as taking the therapy session with Woman A and going through that to then come back around to have the therapy session with Woman B still ends up playing the scene image "chose Woman B first over Woman A." Just some minor things that can be overlooked. Voice Acting is okay, i normally kept it off because i was reading faster than they were talking.
