not worth spending money on

I would avoid this, and for that matter all Inceton games. Every game they make is basically just a giant tease with incredibly low payout rates. Having played a few of their titles I can confidently say Inceton has a strategy for every game they make. It goes like this: introduce a bunch of girls, tease payoffs but only do a few per title (or chapter, in their language) and induce you to buy the next title in the series to see the payoffs they teased but didn't finish. To break things off in a tease before the payoff it is very commn in their worlds to have people suddenly enter the room just as you're about to start or decide that they just can't do this yet and run off or, my personal favorite, put the playable character on a hair trigger that ALWAYS goes off just before anything goes down. Seriously, that's every game Inceton makes. And it's not just bad game design, it's BY design. Which is why, for example, there is no "skip" option, you have to click thousands of times to progress the story as they take you through teaser scenario after teaser scenario without the ability to skip anything. The reason, of course, is that they are hoping that if they can trap you in the game long enough while seeming to get close to giving you what they promised without...quite...getting...there then you will shell out for the next game to hopefully see the pay off in that game. But you never will, because that violates their business strategy. So, up to you. Shell out as much as you like but get used to the phrase "story continues in chapter X".

Suprisingly Good

Until I played this game, I did not fully understand the draw to the interactive visual adult novels, or the few modern mature video games that I've tried. I've only played five other mature games prior to this and they were so terrible compared to something free like Pornhub that I would return them about 15 minutes past purchase. Good The main game's characters are fully voiced. This is the reason I couldn't get into similar games like Being a DIK because not all of the important interactions are voiced. The character design is good enough. It's not perfect, but I didn't see any obvious, uncanny valley, mannequins. The storyline and main game mechanic avoids JRPG like grinding. I hate grinding. I do not understand why this is still a thing anywhere including stuff from Japan. The storyline and customization is surprisingly good. Bad It's short compared to normal games. I don't know how it compares to other adult games because this is the only one that I've gotten into within the last three years.

Better than expected

I knew this game was about time travel and a repeating day but somehow I expected little more than a visual novel. After the introduction however the player gets more freedom. What's really done well is the hint system. The MC messes up, thinks about it and gets an idea how to do it better, meaning that new options get unlocked. In other cases, when the MC gets basically a door in his face, the game just fast forwards a full day, so the conversation can be tried again. That takes out the grind factor out of the game very efficiently. It's possible of course to be a dick and play pranks to see some fun reactions, but to move forward in the story, one needs to be the nice guy most of the time, which I really can relate to. The female charcters are fully voiced, as far as I can tell, but there's only two voice actresses, who are not really good at using different voices for each character. But it's somthing. But since MCs answers are only available in text form you still have to keep the eyes on the bottom of the screen if you are interested in the conversations. The time travel structure is by far not as complex as in a certain other time traveling VN which may or may not make it to GOG some day, but it's still fun to experiment and see, how many different outcomes the writers could come up with.

Lacking In Many Areas

Lust Theory it is pretty similar to my thoughts of Summer with Mia in that I found it too hard to root for the main character. The game was all over the place with how he acts. For instance I’m pretty sure that some acts he commits could count as rape at worst or sexual assault at the least yet there is one optional story arc where he can blackmail a character into groping them but decides it is going to far and the game blocks that arc off. There is also little in the way of choices. You can’t choose to not be interested in a specific girl. You can choose which girls arcs to go through some times but in others the game even takes that choice away and lays out which order to do things in. I also didn’t like how there is little to no closure to the story. I understood going in that there was a season two so I expected some form of cliffhanger but by the end of season one I have no idea how the time loop got started; what causes certain glitches; or really learned much about the characters other than they all want a piece of the MC. The voice acting was decent to good. One thing I noticed was that, for obvious reasons, the girls never said your name. This wasn’t always a problem as sometimes they would use “he” or “his” instead which worked just fine but other times there was simply an audio gap which just seemed strange. The models and object details were well done. The animations were well done although there was a lack of actual sex scenes given the run time for the season. A lot of it was buildup and introductions as well as replays. One thing I will give the game credit for is that for a game that is basically playing the same day over and over it does a good job of actually progressing and introducing tiny details that show you how to learn more. The game could have easily been a grind and felt stale very quickly but the game allows many events to just auto skip so you can not have to repeat little things over and over and can get to the fresh content.

Fun Times

I enjoyed the game immensely (been following this company for a couple of years now). Fun writing and good graphics. The plot (no spoilers) is very reminiscent to Groundhog's Day, but... you know, adulty twist.
