Tomb Raider II was the first real video game I ever played. When I was a kid, I used to watch my dad playing this original trilogy on our computer with bated breath, unsure of what was going to happen yet. Flash-forward over a decade later, and these games are still just as thrilling. Right here, you see the franchise in a prime that it didn't hit again until Crystal Dynamics shipped Legend. Inventive puzzles, varied environments (especially in III), and some of the most thrilling moments you'll ever have in a video game. As an aspiring developer, capturing the same type of magic these games possessed is one of my goals. For games as old as these to still have mechanics that inspire me says a lot. This a bargain for the hours and hours of enjoyment you're going to get. Buy without delay.
