You are a cop who enters buildings to kill bad guys and rescue hostages (and sometimes disarm a bomb while you are at it). Style of the game is you clear room by room. Hostages can be killed by your fire, which is where the tactical part comes into play. Good variety of enemies, each with differences in weapon and behaviour, makes gameplay more interesting and forces you to review your tactics. Some enemies might even use hostages as human shields or threaten to kill them! Very good game overall, highly suggested.

I enjoyed the story, the choices, the mechanics, the combat, it is everything I wanted and did not expect to get from Tyranny. The only issue is that it is a bit short, but it feels very replayable. I started my second playthrough right after the end credits. Let's see how replayable it is.

I was in the mood for a relaxed game, something to play while listening to music or a podcast. It was exactly like that but even better. Some criticize its monotonous gameplay, dig dig dig, pickup minerals, sell, upgrade, back to digging. The developers did improve from the first game and it is much more interesting. Because it is short (finished it in 4-5 hours) I would recommend buying it on discount, which is what I did. It is totally worth it though,
