ELEX

Your main enemy will be game controls!

Summary: one-button combat against very strong hideous enemies that suddenly jump at you. Overall story is not terrible, but writing is very bad! Dialogue lines are incoherent, often you have to guess what they suppose to mean. There are are major consequences to choices you make, but there is no telling from the dialogue what would be the outcome of these choices. Hundreds of repetitive copy/paste fetch quests. But main problem is the control system.. It is very reasonable to shoot a bow at a charging enemy, then draw a sword.. Except for you can not draw a sword or even dodge until bow animation would play through. Same with combos. So instead it is best to draw a sword and just keep swinging it in fast attacks. Contrast is really bad too, if you are in a lit area you can not see into adjacent shaded area as it is completely black, and if you are in a shadow (or indoors) you can not see into lit areas (or outside through a doorway). Instead game capitalises on hideous creatures that suddenly jump at you. Even minor foes can take our a large chunk of your health with single hit.

O.R.B.: Off-World Resource Base

Terrible controls and poor gameplay

Navigation is poorly thought out, controls are very rigid creating an unpleasant experience. Tutorial is very rigid too, you can't skip parts of it and can't speed up the game. Instead you have to wait 10-15-20 minutes (subjectively) for a ship to travel from A to B. I uninstalled it after first mission.

The Long Journey Home

Too random and hopeless

At all times you will be hanging by a thread, any of your actions can at any moment and in disaster - with no recovery or second chances. Constant tedious grind to gather fuel with ever-present danger of losing the lander. Repair kits are few and far between. Alliances are convoluted with no why to track who wants what.

Sunless Skies: Sovereign Edition

Is this what HELL looks like??

This game is rather grim and requires you to make deals with devils for plot progression.. If you practice a religion - give this game a miss, you would not lose anything.

E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy - Single-Player Edition

Unpleasant :-//

This game is deliberately designed for a player to hang by a thread - with no safety net! Constantly respawning enemies (some of whom are nearly invincible even on lowest difficulty setting), scarce medkits and you can only save the game at the end of the mission. I have not enjoyed this game. It is way to unpleasant to appreciate the storyline.

Hard West

What a horrible game..

In this game player is required to sell the soul to a devil and kill people at devil's command.

Shadowrun Returns

Okay, but linear and short.

It's fine to pass two - three evenings, but does not last long. Storyline is perfectly linear, but on the bright side - no arcane quest logs.

Massive Chalice

Simply boring and poor weird graphics.

This 'game' is a series of 'maps' where you have to clear 'enemies'. Again, again and again. Pointless and boring. Graphics is one of the week points - broken lines, geometric squares and triangles make it look rough and untidy.
