Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes

Dissapointed

As much as i loved KUF:TC this was a let down. 1; Yes there are 7 campaigns where you play as one of the many side heroes from Crusaders, getting to know them, and what happened before and after Enclablossa (but some don't add up). Some have 10 missions others more BUT half of them are just mindless fighting and the otherhalf is storytelling, whereas in Crusaders every mission contributed to the story so it feels halfassed honestly, its underwhelming. 2; Music is still banging 3; Units yes there is 4 more units you can "create" for everyone, but its honestly waste of resource since you need to distribute exp and gold wisely in this one. You should pretty much stick with the starting units you get and upgrade them, atleast thats the most optimal. They buffed enemy ranged units, they will make mincemeat quickly out of your army. Items don't change much so meh.. 4; Pathing is hilarious feels like there are invisible roads they need to follow, open field they do a 360 then go to location etc. Just give the orders and let them be. 5; Skills if you upgrade one the other ones cost goes up as well so distribute wisely (again unlike Crusaders) 6; But my biggest dissapointment is the VA, none of the original voice actors are in it which fitted the characters and personality absolute perfectly, here....oh god....

Teleglitch: Die More Edition

Nice

First i was sceptical, looking at the graphics (usually i don't care), but after playing it it has its charm. A challenging sci-fi-horrorish-roguelike where you run around the map picking up weapons and items which you can combine to upgrade guns and equipment to help you get to the teleporter for the next levels that get increasingly difficult. Yes its challenging (which is not bad lol), yes you will die alot, but its fun, always finding new combinations for loot (oh look i made a life detector, now i won't be suprise buttsex'd,). After reaching a certian level you can continue from a designated level instead of restarting from beginning if you wish. You get some stuff, but as i see it its more profitable if you start from scratch. Theres lore too that you get from computers to get some insight on what went on before crap hit the fan. A Definite pleasent suprise for me.

Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders

This does put a smile on my face

Maaaan i remember playing this on the demo CD. I instantly fell in love with it, the unique play style (micro managing your units, gears, skills, and using your main hero for some hacknslash action) and ofcourse the glorious music that makes you run into battle even if you have no pants on. Sadly i couldn't find copy anymore (atleast english version) because the xbox360 came out, so the older games slowly disapeared from the shelves. And getting a copy from the net wasn't really a thing back then. So i moved on. And after more then a decade, it popped up on steam. Like seeing an old friend rise from the grave, i was so happy. Wanted to buy it immideatly but then i was like, hold up, what if its on GOG too. I checked but nothing, but i wanted to wait just incase. And after a few weeks (if i remember correctly) badabim badaboom under Coming Soon section there it was. Long story short bought it played it loved it. Sure its outdated graphicly for some ( i don't mind), in the last minute they had to censore the word Pope so the sound is cut out and Patriarch is written instead in the subtitles. Sometimes the sound can be overwhelming especialy if there a lot of troops clumped up, but a little sound adjusting will do the trick. The maps aren't huge and the objectives are simple (defend this, destroy that the usual, 4 missions in particular pretty frustrating). 1 easy 1 normal and 2 hard difficulty campaigns, each having a different personal goal and a different view of the ongoing "situations". For me a good 35hours well spent. Good VA, characters have personality, not just brainless puppets, good story even if it feels short or ends abruptly. But i don't care, even with its cracks and dents i loved everysecond of it. Sorry for the long ramble lol
