Amazing

What a perfect remake and proof that old 8-bit games were great! Even though the title features exactly the same gameplay as the original (you can even switch to the old graphics during gameplay) it still gives you lots of fun! It was one of my favorite games on my Sega Master System when I was like 9 or 10 years old, I passed the game several times, had a collection of codes written down, I even tried (often with success) my luck by making up codes to find out they work. Either way it was one of the best 8-bit games and probably the best in the series. I'm so pleased to find out the remake is as fun to play as it's precedessor. Highly recommended, not only if you're a fan of old consoles. And the graphics are beautiful, great buy!

Long Forgotten Gem

The Wonder Boy series is one of those franchises that was abandoned for years, but when Sega finally decided to bring it back, it made you realize that they really lost out on building what could have been an amazing series! Unfortunately they stopped making games in 1994, but thankfully someone at Sega saw the potential of the series and decided to revive it (that person should get a promotion). The Wonder Boy series is on par with anything Nintendo makes when it comes to pure platforming enjoyment. This game gives you the option to switch between the classic style and the modern style (including the music), and will give you hours of enjoyment. In case you didn't already know, the Wonder Boy series is the perfect a mix between Mario, Kirby, and The Legend of Zelda. I highly recommend this game if you're up for the challenge!

Beautiful!

I remember playing the original on a school-friend of mine's Sega Gamegear - damn, now I feel old. The old-timey classic has been upgraded with gorgeous hand-drawn graphics and animations, and all the old music has been re-recorded by musicians on genuine musical instruments. I completed it 4 hours which I wasn't expecting, but still it was well worth the price just for the amazing soundtrack, lovely visuals, and a warm fuzzy trip down memory lane. Go Mouse-Man!

Made me remember the old days

This game is very hard, but with enough to find the hidden things it is totally fun and the art is beatiful

Мусор в красивой обёртке

2 бала за классную переработку графики и музыки. В остальном в этой игре есть все минусы игр прошлого. Совершенно примитивная боёвка. Айфреймы не работают - вас может унижать любой моб попавший в тайминг. Непонятно куда идти и что делать. Совершенно #нальный платформинг. Не тратьте своё время. Это игра пережиток прошлого.
