Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate

Hello, Like most folks drawn to this wonderful relic of a game I was lured in by the warm call of nostalgia - when I was a young dude spending hours and hours hunting Chaos cultists with my squad of Blue Space Marines. Alas, once I purchased this game I was unfortunately reminded that I should trust reviews. The review from 5 years ago expressing that the game does not work on Win 10 device is still quite accurate. Don't buy this game until they patch it if you use Windows 10. It's a shame, I loved this game so much when I was little.

Cant play the game it stuck in loading screen or wost black screen after you set your squad and enter the mission it stuck there. I am using Intel HD Graphics 630 discrete graphics and install latest driver 30.0.101.1994, i know i know why i am using intel graphic because the graphic in malaysia is exepensive as F**k even used one.

Game crashes at the start of the mission. Hoping for the fix.

I wish the game worked because Chaos Gate actually looks like a very cool game, but it doesn't work with modern PC's, so this game needs to be taken down and worked on until it actually WORKS and people can play without issue. I feel like I got scammed out of $10 and they know it doesn't work because reviews go as far back as 2015 saying it doesn't work right. Even the "support" offered to fix the game doesn't work so there's another scam to deal with after your money has already been taken for this. It really is too bad the people who run the site won't actually take the game down to fix it, just goes to show how much they don't care I guess. If I could do less than one star I would because this a lie, I'm not poorly reviewing the game, I saw game play and it looked very good and I would enjoy it very much. I'm poorly reviewing the people who sell the games and their lack of care about the products they're selling people and if they work or not as long as they get your money from you.

I buy games from GOG precisely because I don't want the hassle and frustration of trying to monkey around and find patches and special settings to get games to run. This game doesn't meet the bar. I get the opening sequence, the first mission briefing, and the ability to outfit my squad, but the game crashes when I try to start the first mission. For folks that can get it running from what I can see it looks like a pretty decent game.
