Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate

Not working, always ask for missing cd-rom

i remember having this title as a demo on a pcgamer disc back in 98-99 and played it alot, bought it now 1-2 years ago and it didnt work, tried to google a fix but still nothing, the game itself is one o the best ones with the warhammer 40K theme but gog doesnt seem to be able to fix the incompatible bit with the game

This tip might help people suffering from black screen when trying to launch game: Install the game to a folder with a name shorter than 8 characters and no spaces for example: C:chaos This solved the problem when I was trying to get Chaos Gate working on XP years ago.

Added it to my cart immediately when I saw it Right now though it's got some major gamebreaking bugs (though still runs better than trying to play the initial release) and needs urgent patching. For myself it worked fine until the begining of the 2nd level where it blackscreened on loading, quit, restart, load last turn.... This time it loaded the 2nd level just fine but crashed on the first turn when I tried to equip the missile launcher in the thunderhawk. 1Star because, well it's broken. If the blackscreen of death and CTD's get patched (including the demon spawning crash from the original version). 5 Stars.

It's been 4 years since this game came out on gog and it still doesn't work ix this game or give me my money back
