Hell of a style, Busted port
Style over substance isn't always a bad thing or not interestng. Dog Days, even with its just serviceable gameplay remains worth exprencing once. The effects do very well to raise the fidelity of the game and the mean events of the plot, even if the plot is nothing that great all in all. An absolutely B movie title elevated by its smart use of presentation and shoking imagery. The PC version has serious issues though. Settings that don't do anything, missing effects, non functioning MP (GOG specific, but fixable even though it still may just crash) and in my case, a 100% repeatable softlock in Chapter 9. If you would like to expirence Dog Days, be sure to get it on deep discount just in case you expirence any of the above. Would make for a good double feature with Max Payne 3

The better "Kane And Lynch"
I RECCOMEND THAT YOU JUST PLAY IT, WITHOUT READING REVIEWS OR WATCHING ANY OF THE TRAILERS. (btw the game works great except for like 1 glitch that happened with the audio but you can fix it (IF it occurs) using common logic) Im gonna make it quick, there isnt much to this game that is interesting EXCEPT for the aesthetics- the unsteady third person handcamera; the madness of all the shooting, exploding and screaming; the in-game camera audio that breaks every time someone speaks in a bit higher tone than regular. This game doesnt hold you hand about tough and disturbing topics like mass-killing, suicide or torture. This aint GTAV, where killing is made "cool", "easy" or "satisying". Every shot/bullet and explosion carries more weight than your fat friend falling down the stairs. If those things werent there, then maybe it still would be a better game than the first one BUT it would of have been missing something. Something that is so weirdly good to play. At the end you will find something to like about the game, but you wont like what you did.

Great awesome game. The first thing your going to notice is all of the great camera angles just watching NYPD Blue. If you run the camera looks like it is running bobbing up and down. I AM IMPRESSED WITH ANOTHER STEAL OF A DEAL. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH A COMPLETE EDGY AND SEMI VIOLENT GAME FROM THE STREETS AND BACK ALLEY, THIS IS 5 STARS FIR SURE. GOG KNOCKS ANOTHER OUT OF THE PARK

Good answer to a question no one asked
This is inferior to the original in almost every way. I'll start with the couple of things that it improves upon. Though I can imagine it's very difficult to find players today, this does actually support multiplayer, including with bots. The various modes are all interesting; this features easily my favourite multiplayer rule set, where players choose between working together or betraying one another. This was also when IO interactive, a developer I've supported from the start and who I love most of the work of, *finally* fixed that obnoxious recoil that made shooting a chore. Where the first game is a series of planned heists that tend to go south, this is a series of situations where they didn't even get past the planning stage before being forced into the violence. This makes it feel more tense; you are literally permanently on your back foot. This includes the removal of the squad tactics element. The first one is international, here a lot(I won't give away if it's all) is in Shanghai. They came up with a ton of different scenarios with these significant limitations. The gradual escalation over the course of this has had me replaying it from start to finish half a dozen times; twice as many as the first one. The story is equally stunning in how it has zero chill, and how contrived it is. So many things had to happen in the exact way that they do, several baffling decisions by characters who should know better, in order for this to get to the central setup. This is nowhere near the original in how deeply you find yourself affected by the damage of the player character. This time, it’s Lynch instead of Kane. Unfortunately, he never seems to go off his meds, easily the most interesting element of his character. His feelings for his girlfriend is a deeply mid replacement for Kane’s about his wife and daughter. There is a moment in this that seeks to replicate “you should. Have let. Me talk to them”, and it doesn't hit anywhere near as hard. Some lost it cuz nudity.
