Multiplayer DRM
While i do love GOG and Men Of War i would like to point out that the game actually has Multiplayer DRM in the form of CD key. Still is a great game from a great series and you should try it out.

Best Game Ever
I am not kidding. I have been gaming nearly my whole life (52 years old) and to me personally, this is the crown jewel.. It gives you ultimate control when you want it. It allows you to control the speed of the game which is absolutely vital. I like to play in slow-mo most of the time and do not like fast paced games. What makes this one the best Men of War is the additon of the medic. Bringing back to life your dead soldiers is what is lacking in the other Men of War games. The only negative thing I can say is that there is not a whole lot of variety in the missions and can get alittle repetitive..

Fun Game - Not as good as original
I have both the original Men of War, which I loved and this one. This game adds new units and adds better multi player. The original had a much better campaign for single players with a good variety of missions. This game doesn't do that as well. It has single player missions but they are all quite similar. You move forward to capture the next objective to get better units. AI is good in this game and units act pretty well, with individuals moving to cover where possible. The enemy AI isn't very aggressive though. This game is at its best when playing it with multi player. Still, it is one of the best squad based WWII games around since the original Close Combat game.

WW2 paintball capture-the-flag campaign
If you want multiplayer virtual paintball capture-the-flag games dressed up as WW2 stuff, this game is worth the money. Co-op multiplayer vs computer is the most fun way to play to play this game and I had an enjoyable hour at it with my nephew. And it looks nice too. But it's all arcade candyfloss really. No serious WW2 wargamer would take this seriously. And forget strategy and also forget decent single-player campaigns, depth or replayability. If you want a decent tactical single-player game, time to think every move, and put nerdy levels of history-buff realism over pretty graphics, I'd instead recommend Battlefront's Combat Mission series (Afrika Korps or Barbarossa to Berlin), which can go from platoon up to big battalion-level games, and though it lacks campaigns it does have some extended scenarios, and it's random map generator, map editor, hundreds of community maps, and numerous difficulty settings (and mods, thousands of mods) create endless replayability.

Excellent war rts game
I originally played this (to death) in 2010 during a cold winter here - I revisited it in late 2023 as I had always wanted to play it again and have not been disappointed. If you want a completely immersive RTS, where you could spend eight hours completing a perfect mission, this does it perfectly. I still haven't seen even half of what the game offers as it's quite in depth. One mission had me sending a small squad of men crawling through streets, while another was just a full on assault while AI allies and tanks accompanied me. The only faults are, the missions are mostly the same throughout - small units on the frontline, with heavy units at the back - everytime there are big artillery guns that will just wipe out anything that comes close. Also, AI enemy tanks just seem to be so overpowered that the lightest tank seems to be able to destroy your heaviest tanks. There's nothing more annoying than having to hop out, spend 20 minutes fixing your tank, get back in, and then instantly have it destroyed. It's also very difficult, even on the easy setting. There are a few bugs - sometimes one of your squad is unselectable and lays there doing nothing until he is killed. Tanks/vehicles can collide an spring up in the air (ulitimately exploding). I've played this game well into the morning, when I should have been in bed.
