Beautiful, bittersweet, play it twice

Beautiful aesthetics and a moving soundtrack, surprisingly fluid controls (the place evokes Xen but it plays much better) and an engaging story which starts as an adventure through an alien landscape and winds up being something largely more profound, if you know where to look. Here's a hint : those letters on the wall aren't Easter eggs, they're signposts to the real story. But first you have to learn to read them, which is what the first playthrough is for - also to just enjoy the story as presented to the narrator's niece. Play-through is pretty short if you're not sticking around for achievements, but it's no accident the game ends on level 6. Fun and challenging gameplay, plenty of well-hidden secrets and a sense of immersion I can't wait to test on VR, just as soon as that becomes feasible. Certainly had its frustrating moments, especially in the ice cavern, but overall a great game and well worth the purchase.

A must play

It is an interesting puzzle game. Some puzzles will drive you mad, but you will like it! The gameplay is around 10 hours.

A great platformer, but a poor story.

A game is not a super extra, but I enjoyed playing it. As for the story, it is quite weak (its potential has not been developed), while if we look at the game through the prism of the platform game, I think that the game can be rated 10/10. It was neither easy nor too difficult. The game is a bit short. A graphics of the environment 7.5/10. (Nice but it lacked details) WARNING SPOILERS: A graphics of the characters and buildings 2/10. (here the same idea for characters is cool, but facial expressions are terrible, besides Maddie was the prettiest character, from all frogs, and I have the impression that other frogs-humans were made worse in terms of graphics) I think the game would have more potential if there was more budget for its implementation. The idea of a city of frogs under the surface seems interesting. After the game, I feel insufficient information, I would like to know more details from this story. I would love to read a comic book, or a book embedded in such a world. I like the idea with the language of the frogs and during the game I decrypted all the boards. PS: The launcher that throws the character into the underground world is a bit illogical.

Great little gem

Nice game. Very beautiful, with a great concept, but a little rough on the mechanics. It doesn't take away from the experience, though. I highly recommend it.

Almost redeemed the jumping game genre

The game is beautiful, and the feeling of soaring/falling through the air is fantastic. I wasn't really sure where I was trying to get to, but getting there was generally fun. The controls are intuitive. The dialogue is pretty weak, but it's made to mimic a dad making up a story on the fly, so that helps. Ultimately, the fact that I had to practice certain jumps 50 times before making them, due in large part to luck, meant that I dropped the game near the end. That just seems more like work, and less like a game. I work hard in real life. That's not why I play games.
