Description

Following a bizarre cataclysmic event that cracked the moon in half, the Earth is struggling with the environmental fallout. Everything is already dead or dying... except you. Or so you think. Don't Escape: 4 Days to Survive is a post-apocalyptic thriller from veteran developer Scriptwelder, creator of the popular horror series Deep Sleep and Don't Escape. Players must figure out a way to properly fortify their home against each night's new danger, as they learn the truth behind the apocalypse and search for a way to safety, if one exists.


Players will journey alongside David, a lone survivor after the end of the world, who finds himself having prophetic dreams... or nightmares. Each chapter of the game has multiple potential variations to encounter, from poisonous fog or spiders to a gang of murderous thugs or a deadly heat wave, and as a result, you'll need to adjust your strategy on different playthroughs. But you don't have forever. Certain actions advance the in-game clock, and you'll need to complete your preparations to (hopefully) stay alive before night falls.

Will you make it through all four days? Will your companions?

Good Point and Click game

Very enjoyable point and click adventure game. Short and to the point. I think it couldve used some features to make replaying or reloading a little bit better, such as speeding up or automatically advancing dialogue either by key press or just automatically past already seen text with an option. The puzzles made significantly more sense than in many other adventure games I played. Good game.

Great!

This is one of the best Point & Click Adventures I've played in years and I played them all! Well not really, but I love this kind of game and I have no idea how I could miss this for so long. It has an engaging story with an intriguing mystery, tightly written dialogue, a good portion of non-linearity and logical puzzles, which are not too easy. Just a very balanced game all around. There are multiple solutions to certain problems and different scenarios, but you're also allowed to make mistakes. Time is an essential ressource here, but the game gives you enough wiggle room and it never felt punishing. It's more an element of suspense, which let's you feel the urgency of the situation and not a frustrating trap like in some other games. You don't have to play the predecessors, at least I haven't (yet). I will definitly check out the rest of the series and keep an eye on the developers.

What a trip

Great adventure game, hardly any of the old adventure game logic. Had minor issues on the last day since I needed an item I could have gotten on day 2, I guess. Also quite nostalgic with the connection to the Deep Sleep series. If you liked the old Scriptwelder flash games then you will most likely enjoy this one.

An interesting story adventure

I had quite a lot of fun playing this title. Original, remainding me of Indiana Jones (How Cate throws her hair:). The graphics is nice and music is also original. Will need to play through again soon as I forget to take the disc with me...
