Unique concept, sadly full of bugs
I really like the concept of the game. Building and managing your own inn in a fictional medieval country seemed compelling. However, at release the game had some major issues like bad optimization (the game demanded a surprising lot of cpu and graphic power), pathing issues of characters, missing or confusing descriptions etc. Well, it's the first game of the devs and like many gamers I (sadly) got used to releases of unfinished software that's beeing fixed over the coming months. Unfortunately, after about 3 months from release, the game still contains a tremendous amount of bugs. Just a short list of inconveniences I stumbled upon recently: - pathfinding is still an issue, characters bump into each other, guests get stuck on items, your employees sometimes make a detour for no apparent reason - my guesetroom caught fire and I don't know why, all employees tried to put it out, but extinguished furniture catches fire again instantly so half of my inn buned down (this incident repeated itself every 15-30 minutes untli I gave up) - the farm plots did not work, employees plant crops and they water the plot, but the plants did not grow (this worked for me in an earlier version), selling and rebuying of the plot did not fix the issue, ordering the employees to fertilize a plot causes them to put every last piece of muck on one field although the fertility of the plot was already maxed out - setting priorities does not seem to do anything, especially prioritising the cleaning of the taproom does not work ... I'd probably still wait patiently for the devs to fix their game, but the fact that they've announced the first dlc even though there is still a huge amount of bugs wrecking the basic game play makes me believe that priority is not on improving the game but on cash-grabbing while there are still some people believing that this game will meet the expectations of its audience one day. I hope the devs will prove me wrong, but currently I have my doubts about it.
