For those struggling getting certain achievements unlocked because of this bug. I was able to get %100 by doing following.

Make duplicate copies of your save game and duplicate often.


Story related achievements:
Rename profile.bin and delete GAME-AUTOSAVE folder. Replace autosave folder with a save just before when achievement was suppose to unlock. Load the game back up again and a new profile will be created. Resume and play. After achievement is unlocked exit game, delete newly created profile.bin and restore the renamed profile.bin to keep your progress.

Perk related achievements:
Rename profile.bin and load a bin file that is closes to unlocking a perk you want that achievement for. Switch game versions. (You can flip flop between the 2 but be aware the base version has memory leak problem). Unlock Perk in-game, exit game and restore the original profile.bin.

I did not have any trouble with achievements relating to collectables. If you having trouble with those try one of the solutions above or combination of the two.

Playing The New Order right now and three chapters in and I can't get any single achievement.

nope achievements are just broken.

I used the debug console to unlock most achievements and it seems achievements can only be unlocked on a fresh run of the game meaning you need to do everything in a single playthrough. delete you save data from windows and start fresh.

Issues continue here in 2025 but this worked for me for the most part. Went into the TNO folder, deleted everything and started a new game and....no dice. Achievements still not unlocking. I only started the game like 6 days ago. Went into Galaxy and turned off the online sync and lo and behold the Save Allied Planes achievement popped when it was supposed to after starting a new game. Didn't pop on screen but double checking Galaxy said I had unlocked 1 achievement. So I guess I'll have to play the whole game with no syncing which shouldn't be an issue I'm guessing.

A few days ago I tried with downgrading the game from build 1.0.0.2 hotfix to build 1.0.0.2 using Galaxy. I erased my previous saved files just to double check. With build 1.0.0.2 I was able to get the first achievement for saving the allied planes when it was supposed to. Haven't found time to keep testing the other achievements. As far as I know, there is a story related achievement at the end of the first mission too. Here are the steps to downgrade the game version using Galaxy if someone also wants to try this way:

Go to the game settings in Galaxy.
Select "Manage installation".
Select "Configure".
Untick "Automatically update to newest version".
Select "Version 1.0.0.2" .
Click Ok.
Galaxy will downgrade the game.

Overlay does not work with this game, so I checked that I got the first achievement directly on Galaxy.

Having the same problem, what's more annoying is that I was able to get 90% of the achievements before it randomly stopped, it's just those last 5 that refuse to trigger.
It bothers me being this close to finishing it and not able to do anything, especially since the last perks took quite some time to get.
