Hi,

I see that Early Access is available for Kickstarter backers via Steam. Are there plans to make that same access available here on GOG.com?

Yes.

This game is available now, and according to GOG's FAQ, Game In Development is the same as Early Access.
That FAQ is available here: https://www.gog.com/support/support_view/games_in_development_faq#en

2. Is this different from early access?
Early access means the opportunity to try games early and participate in community-driven development, as well as the chance to support a game's production.
Our take on games in development is all of those things, with the additional benefits of the GOG.com way:
Quality over quantity — When choosing the games that are a good fit for GOG.com, we make sure to pick the ones we can truly stand behind.

14-day refund policy
— You can download, play, and refund any game in development within 14 days of purchase - no questions asked.

Rollback in GOG Galaxy — Keep playing your game if the newest update is not doing it for you, or revisit historical version snapshots.

The games are DRM-free — No annoyances, no online checks.

Hi Treehugger,

I was referring to the key that Wolcen Studios provided to Kickstarter backers for Steam's Early Access. I was attempting to ask them whether the same access would be provided here (i.e., a key provided for GOG users). I just unfortunately phrased my question poorly.

Hi!
WolcenStudio, my question is about the GOGkeys, like the message of deoren. Are the GOGkeys ready? I ask that because maybe some keys still are without prepare, I don´t know.

Thank you, see you later :)

May I ask when the keys will be delivered? "Soon" is not really specific, but getting keys can't be that hard i guess.
Hi !
We haven't sent the gog key yet to everyone yet. However, you can request it from us by sending an email to contact@umbragame.com and providing us the email adress you used in the Kickstarter survey so we will send you the key that way.
Please send me an email until I edit this message here, since our email provider is having issue at the moment)
You can aso send me a PM here.
Cheers,
Daniel

Thanks for the quick reply.

Just to clear things up. I have no problem with waiting, but don't leave me in the dark. Just a few words every once in a while is not enough (for me). If your backers have questions (expecially on Kickstarter), you should answer them and even if you say "soon, because ..." every week. As long as you explain the "why", I'm fine.

Just my 2 cents.
