Pheace: Apparently they're going to patch it

waltc: Fargo tweeted and said they were getting right on it (camera angle.) Shouldn't take them too long, I'd guess.
I would imagine they'll push the patch today on Steam, whether GOG gets it today though ...
Not showing up for me either (Torment double backer), but if there are problems with the camera then it's probably best to wait anyway. Boggles the mind how stuff like that isn't picked up in testing, though.

Played through the original game only a week or two back, so I'll probably wait a bit, maybe see what happens after a patch or two.
will linux version of dc be released?
Wasteland 2 Kickstarter Backer here, I just have plain old Wasteland in my account, no DC update. :(
I'm also a Wasteland 2 Kickstarter backer and no sign of Wasteland 2 Directors Cut in my gog library :(
Anyone getting worried I might have been on to something in post 11 of this thread? *evil delighted grin*

Same here. I wonder if I should contact support or wait for them to fix it?

Yes.

Wouldn't hurt. System-wide fix has been delayed until tomorrow at the earliest.

Does anyone know if the Basic Edition folks will be receiving the OST with the DC? When we get it...
The best possible result is if the newest DC appears on gog alongside the camera fix. Then they could take credit for quality control, whether they did it on purpose or not.

Think you were being too optimistic in that post tbh.

As a Linux user now, it's probably best to hold off until path 3-4 when hopefully the most egregious issues that probably pop have been been fixed, as I'm not too keen on downloading the entire game 5 times.

But I can wait, although impatiently. Have played through the original game fully about 4 times, one very recently, so a pause should be fine really.

They said they will be working on it full-time today.
Which does not necessarily mean we'll get it today....

Here is what I got back as the reply for my support ticket

Hello,

We are currently implementing a fix that should resolve this issue for all affected users. It is being aplied one account at a time, so it might take a few more hours until all accounts are fixed. Please be patient, and let me know in case the game isn't present on your account by the end of the day, or by tomorrow.
I apologize for the trouble.

Best regards,
Firek

So they are going through accounts one at a time to fix it. Sounds like a horrible mess and really makes me hate that this was caused because I backed a game and got a lesser copy out of it. Would not have done that had I know they were going to do their classic and deluxe crap as their standard game choices.

Regardless of which copy you received as a backer, you'll get the same DC as everyone else. This is a GOG internal-systems snafu--has nothing to do with inXile and backing the game.
