I installed Ubuntu to get this to work most easily, and after getting the appropriate i386 architecture & libraries set up, I now end up with:
<Prompt>$ ./start.sh
Running Wasteland 2
Set current directory to <home>/GOG-DL/Wasteland 2/game
Found path: <home>/GOG-DL/Wasteland 2/game/WL2
Mono path[0] = '<home>/GOG-DL/Wasteland 2/game/WL2_Data/Managed'
Mono path[1] = '<home>/GOG-DL/Wasteland 2/game/WL2_Data/Mono'
Mono config path = '<home>/GOG-DL/Wasteland 2/game/WL2_Data/Mono/etc'
support/gog_com.shlib: line 199: 2371 Aborted (core dumped) ./"${bin_64}"
or trying to launch it without the script:
<Prompt>$ ./game/WL2
Set current directory to <home>/GOG-DL/Wasteland 2
Found path: <home>/GOG-DL/Wasteland 2/game/WL2
Mono path[0] = '<home>/GOG-DL/Wasteland 2/game/WL2_Data/Managed'
Mono path[1] = '<home>/GOG-DL/Wasteland 2/game/WL2_Data/Mono'
Mono config path = '<home>/GOG-DL/Wasteland 2/game/WL2_Data/Mono/etc'
Aborted (core dumped)
The computer does meet the required specs, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong -- any clues or suggestions would be appreciated. Tried using wine, but that failed during the install. Might try again if I can figure out which wine configuration pieces to tweak. Didn't note that error, it was a window or screen allocation insufficiency if memory serves.
Thank you.
p.s. Further information from root run & Stacktrace below. It's above my head. -C
