Didn't catch the notice until after the 1.3.7 (2.0) had akreadt downloaded. Thankfully, it didn't break compatibility with Worlds Merged. Rollback looks to be an option if needed in Galaxy. I do still have my original installer from 2015, heh.

JudasIscariot: Just to clear the air:

The console is enabled in the GOG version. Please note that in order to enable the cheats you will need to enter "cotcheats" (without " " ) in the console. All the cheats themselves should remain the same.
This doesn't answer an important question: Will the rollback feature for Two Worlds II be disabled, so that the version of the game that doesn't have microtransactions can no longer be downloaded?

Starkrun: HD update is free this DLC is not... Link is from the Dev... pretty crappy but yeah :(

waltc: Yes, I know, now. What they delivered versus what they initially promised is much different. Supposedly, from the initial developer info, anyone who already owned the game would get the CoT DLC free of charge. And originally, the CoT update was to contain the HD Update as an upgrade to the entire TWII game. Now I am given to understand that CoT is a stand-alone addition which does not upgrade the TWII original game in any fashion whatever. The so-called "HD Update" that I downloaded from Steam (I own both Steam and GOG versions ot TWII Velvet Edition) was, according to Steam, a whopping 7.5 MBs (yes Megabytes, not Gigabytes) in size. I immediately saw a noticeable improvement in the rendering engine for TWII--but of course with such a small upgrade for the engine, there were no new textures included for the TWII game itself, etc. Big disappointment.
Funny, because I saw those initial developer announcements, and there was never any talk about the expansion being free to existing users. What the initial announcement did say was that the entire game would get the engine update, and existing owners of the base game/Pirates of the Flying Fortress would get that engine update. There was never any talk about enhanced textures or existing users getting Call of the Tenebrae for free.

I get that the "in thing" right now is to bash Reailty Pump and TopWare for all their worth because of the microtransactions debacle, but if you're going to spread shit, at least stick to the truth, yeah?
used a link from the dev, so im clean there Jamskis... just looking for that sweet engine update.. Raidor [dph] already confirmed the console issue was a mistake and they rolled it back.

also you can disable updates per game so no issue, grab the offline installers now since they are still good. I decided to go ahead and burn a copy for long term storage ^_^

Well, then, you did not see the announcement that I did. I assure you I saw it and "Cot will be free for everyone who already owns the game" is pretty much a direct quote of what I saw that you didn't see.

In what I saw, the "engine upgrade" was to be rolled into CoT--there was only one download mentioned.

It's not the "in thing" at all--I'm just disappointed they didn't do what they originally promised. Please don't think for a moment that simply because you missed it that you know what you're talking about...;) I'll accept that you didn't see it--fine. I won't accept your insistence that because you didn't see it then neither did I. That's flatly untrue. Guess we will have to agree to disagree, then. I *like* this game--which is why I bought it. I'm not trashing it at all, just stating my personal opinion based on what I saw.

Now I get that trashing people with idiotic comments simply because you missed something they didn't is the in thing, but if you're going to spread shit, at least stick to the truth, yeah?

Honestly, I can't tell if it's patched to 2.0 or not. And I've been alternating between the two to try to see. It *seems* as if the Steam version, which ID's itself as "2.0" on the initial game settings screen is
rendering differently than the GOG version, at the moment, which ID's itself as the same old 1.3.7 version even after the installation of the 1.3.7_(2.0)_(13261).exe GOG version.

What I really don't understand is why is this issue so muddled here at GOG--it's very straightforward in the Steam version. Is it the 2.0 version or is it not? Seems like a very easy-to-answer question.

The new version doesn't have microtransations.

Starkrun: Do you plan on updating past the 2.1.0.24 version released around Sept of 2015... also will the HD Update be coming here?
I'd like to know that aswell.
According to the steam forums it appears they released two hotfixes for the HD-Update already, being now at v2.0.3.

In one of those steam-threads one of the devs stated the following:
"If you have a serial number, you can go to www.topwareshop.com and enter your serial number under "Download by Serial Key". If your game is registered, you will always get the download access of the latest version."

Is that possible with the gog version aswell?

Well, we're at 2.03 now and WorldsMerged is broken - though I expected this, honestly. So, I downloaded the 2.03 full installer and kept my 2015 installer for use with WorldsMerged. I'm not certain which version it's at, but it is older than 1.3.7 which was release last year. I kinda wish there was a way to download that particular installer so I have a fully updated version that still works with WorldsMerged.
