The offline installers are labeled as "V2019.1.12"; does it mean that the GOG version of Tower Hunter hasn't been updated in over 2 years at this point?

Curiously enough, the game has been updated. Though, "V2020.1.25" may not be the most recent version.

Some users, including myself, have contacted the developers last week about the missing updates. One user got an answer that they will update the game on monday.

I guess it is the most recent version. The Frontier Hunter trailer (which is now in the GOG version as well) has been added with the February 1st patch as you can see here. I don't see a reason why they shouldn't have included the fixes from the latest two updates.

Aha! I wasn't following that topic, so thank you for letting me know. Good news, yet at the same time I can't help but feel that GOG is turning into a self-service establishment... The Steam version has been updated just a week ago, hence my doubt.
