Wow, they finally released the 1.49 patch.

Only took them 9 days longer than everybody else, and still no word from GOG why we have to put up with such huge delays, during which we can't even play online with others...
If I click in GOG Galaxy on the version number (1.49) I get a changelog starting with:

Patch 1.44 (31 July 2017)

On the web site the complete change log is shown.

--> 17.12. Changelog has been updated to 1.49. However as others comment below 1.50 is current at steam already.

Seriously, the GOG team needs to make an official statement on how updates are going to continue for this game.

Why should we always have to wait several days after a patch has been officially released to finally get it on our second-rate GOG version? It took them 9 days to upload the last patch, and this is simply unacceptable.

Luckily I have both versions (gog and Steam) but i would rather use the GOG Version since i can play it without any drm. Believe it or not patch 1.51 released on Steam some hours ago - and Gog hasnt even got the 1.50 implemented yet.

Yeah I too have both versions, plus the original disks, so I mostly blame the publishers more than anything as they pretty much hold the keys to the code after all...The only way this will change is when I finally get to purchase valve...

But first I need to hit the lottery first! ;^)
Wow after many days they finally managed to push update 1.51 to Gog. I hope they will be faster in the future.

That's true for the moment. I guess even on GOG only a few people are working until next year so offline installers might get a bit delayed. Of course that's not official - only my own theories.

It DOES explain why they don't work these days (just like me), but it DOES NOT explain why we (offline users) must wait longer than galaxy users.

It sort of does since Galaxy can be updated pretty much without GOG having to do much. The offline installers need to be bundled by GOG themselves.
v1.51 also available for offline user.
Thank you.
