MarkoH01: Changelog
It is actually the 1.48, despite what is indicated on GOG (but thank you nonetheless!).

MarkoH01: Changelog
Strange thing with this patch is the fact that it is the 1.48, not 1.49. Guess it's just a typo from GOG.

Yeah, you are correct. Even though the filename itself is wrong as well it shows in menu that this is patch 1.48 will change it here and inform GOG so they can change it as well. Thanks for the information.

EDIT -

!! ATTENTION !!

It appears this patch makes all the secondary quests disapear. About that issue, a dev said, I quote :

"About the quests - unfortunately those tend to reset in the log when they get updated in any way. Which we know can be a nuisance, so we try to bundle such edits and only do them when necessary.

Other than that the quests should be ok though. We took care that this does not result in things that could negatively affect the legitimacy of your characters, like having skill points awarded a second time"

Maybe we should wait...

EDIT2 - Mmmh, italics doesn't work??

Is there an ETA? Steam has had the 1.49 update for a few days now and still nothing for us on GOG

Sorry, I don't know what ETA means. Well, actually it does, for me it means "Euskadi Ta Askatasuna", but I have the feeling you meant something else. :)
I wonder who's to blame for this constant delay on patches for the GOG version.

Do the developers not give GOG the resources at the same time as Steam gets it, i.e. playing favorites? Or is the GOG team just that slow to release it?

Oh ok, I have no idea when it will arrive. As the patch seems broken, I guess they (the devs) have to fix it first, then GOG will provide it. But it is right that patches arrive always after their release on Steam, especially for those (like me) who doesn't use Galaxy.
I wish one of our Blue friends tell us why there seems to be always a delay.
It's been 6 days since the latest patch was released. What is up with the huge delays, GOG?

You realize every time we lag behind like this, we also cannot join random multiplayer servers until we receive the update, because all the rooms run on the latest updated Steam version. Hardly any GOG players there, no wonder with patch delays like this.
Maybe GOG is wise enough and don't want to provide a broken patch. If they do, everyone will open support tickets because of the issues the patch bring with him. Let the next (1.50) come, and forget about this crappy 1.49.
Anyway , I cannot play with my husband anymore and it's very frustrating. He's on steam, I rather use GOG and all this makes me think about that decision ...

The patch is not broken. The thing that it messes up side quests for existing characters will have to be accepted, because the devs already gave us to understand that there's no way around it. You've even quoted that post above.
The developer seems to be active on the steam forum. Maybe if someone brings this all up on there, then they will do something.
I suspect they think v1.49 is on GoG.

Hum, yeah to be honest I did not quite understand the dev sentence I quote. It's confusing for me, I can't imagine them to keep things like this.
