We should have them done by the end of the week if not sooner :)
hey thank you Judaslscariot !

because it became complicated to install 1.10 1.22 1.24 1.30 ...
I purchased the Game and all DLCs, it would be greate to have only one v1.30 Installer including the main Game, all DLCs and one selectable Language (or all languages together)
Yes, it would be nice if owners of both expansions could get the installer files for the GOTY edition. Content-wise it ought to be the same?

We will have an updated installer and the languages are already selectable hence the various Language Packs we have for the game for those languages that have both text and audio :)
To clarify: there will be updated installers for the base game and DLCs separately, no single all-in-one setup with base game and all DLCs.

Will we finally get a proper GOG icon for The Witcher 3? It would be a more orderly appearance on my desktop. :)

That's very sad, but on the other side I appreciate the possibility to install base game without expansion packs (expansions are great, but I prefer to play them after the main game and the new map icons and enemys are confusing ...).

Thiev, could you please tell me from which game your new avatar is (the dark lady with glowing eyes)? Seems to be a classic vga game, but I can't allocate it. Reminds me of Ravenloft, but I don't think it's a safe bet.

It's Daggerfall :)

Thanks! :-)

Was a big talking point in my days, but the huge randomly created world scared me away, so it's one of the few VGA RGP classics I didn't play ... ;-)

Is there a specific reason why?

I assume the GOTY installers are a single thing. Wouldn't it make sense to give the same convenience to the people who supported you earlier, if they own the full content?

But okay, if we end up with one base install, one free DLC and two paid DLCs that will be manageable.

This question is completely valid. Why do you treat first day buyers worse than actual buyers? I asked CD-Project RED directly and they alspo said that there won't be an upgrade option for owners of the base game and expansion pass which imo is a shame and shows us again that you should not buy but wait. As a bonus (for the gamer not the developer) the game will then also be cheaper. Is that really what you want GOG? Is taht really what you want CD-Project RED? I have to say that I am quite disappointed about this decision.
The way it should be is:

If you own all of the content from The Witcher 3, you get the up-to-date all-in-one installer.

If you do not own all of the content from The Witcher 3, you get up-to-date base installer and up-to-date expansions separately, depending on what you purchased.

Why isn't it like this?

Seriously, I hope GOG will solve this problem soon and give us a proper installer ( at least an up to date one) ... I preordered the game and the season pass long before release and would like to burn my game on a bluray... Please GOG :)
Can't even install it without Galaxy.
