Nothing silly about it - especially not in a thing called "forum" which basically EXISTS to discuss things and stating arguments. But if you don't want to participate nobody forces you to.

Nachdem ich hier ja letztens auch noch gemault habe wegen des fehlenden aktuellen Installers möchte ich mich hiermi bei CDPR und GOG für den aktuellen 1.31 installer bedanken. Hättet ihr (JudasIscariot) früher gepostet, dass das bereitstellen des neuen installers einfach noch ein paar Tage länger in Anspruch nimmt, wären vermutlich weit weniger Leute hier so angesäuert gewesen.

Ich ziehe meine Kritik hiermit zurück, ihr seid nach wie vor ein sehr Kundenfreundlich orientiertes Unternehmen.

No, all we request is the same installer as the GOTY edition , how hard is it to understand... ?

even if the product have different id , that's not an excuse considering there's no added content.

i don't buy the excuse, "you didn't bought the GOTY edition", then you don't have access the all-in-one installer.

if CDPR starts with this is silly argument , what will they do with their next game ?

Another fact : Witcher 1 & 2 got enhanced both , i got a free upgrade to them , they didn't added an extra entry for each of them : they could have even charged their customers for an upgrade but they didn't. Now for the W3 , they didn't put extra work in the GOTY edition vs the 2 others witcher games i spoke of , and what they did ? They created a second entry in the catalog & denied a convenient installer for existing buyers of the same content , for which reason ? because the game have a different name... this is exactly the contrary of what they did in the past...

Just a "great" marketing move... wow. and no i know GOG & CDPR run a business, and this is just a wrong move... you may agree or not, but this is my opinion.

I'm sorry but we're the developer of the game, and we don't have any influence over the game installers, and how are they listed on gog.com

However I advise installing the game not via installers, but via gog galaxy, this way the game will install and patch itself without any problems.

Ich bin auch froh über den neuen Installer 1.31 von The Witcher 3, weil eine Neuinstallation viel Zeit in
Anspruch nahm.
Leider wurde aber der Installer des Language-Packs von Blood and Wine nicht auf die Versionsnummer
2.0.0.52 (vorher 2.0.0.45) angehoben. Bei einer Neuinstallation bekommt man die Meldung "The Installed
Game is newer than this update" und somit wird es auch nicht installiert, was zur Folge hat das keine
Tonausgabe erfolgt.
Wenn hier noch nachgebessert wird, wäre alles perfekt, genauso wie das Spiel selbst.

These are the same files from 4 days ago, i thought they were corrupted/speech/language problem, and new installers had been posted ?

checksums are for the latest build. the initial build had no blood wine speech. so gog rebuilt them. my checksums are the newer one. :-)

So we got to download the 8 files for witcher 3 again as well ? thought it was just the 2 expansions that are new ?

that's correct. only the new expansions. i have provided checksums for the entire thing. however only the expansions were updated.

I've been trying since the new installers came out to get those checksums from Gog. I know my current backup files are corrupted, but as I only have 1MB/s download speed, I wanted to be absolutely confident that I would be able to check they were OK before I downloaded
