I have asked them (CDPR) why there is no upgrade option for owners of the base game and season pass and they promised to answer me detailed. But since it's weekend I guess we'll have to wait until monday.

Thread deserves a bump.

Choice is good. Everyone should have four separate installer files (up-to-date) for base, free dlc, exp1 and exp2 depending on their purchase.

Those who own the complete set should also have a fifth installer, all in one, up to date - the file that is basically distributed for GOTY buyers.

Why it would be any other way, I don't get.

Unfortunately so far no response from CDPR as to why they don't offer the GOTY installer to owners of both base and expansion pass .... and even the single installer is still not there and it's the beginning of the new week. :(

The Week has passed, but still no Installer, what is the Problem? the all in one GOTY Installer already exist.
Why couldn't you give at least the customers who owns all DLC access to the GOTY installer.

The 1.31 unified installer is a great thing. Please GOG, don't be stupid, give that to people who bought the game and expansions (in some cases months before release, with good faith and no moaning about delays). These early supporters deserve a complete and simple installer.

I cant believe CDPR is not giving goty edition to people who have game + expansions. Its just unfair since we were the people who supported you though time and now we feel abandondoned.

So, after testing the 1.31 GOTY install files:

Not only does it have the nice random menu change, the combined install size is about 10GB less, and backup space needed for the install files is also 10GB less if you are storing them somewhere.

I wouldn't bet against the idea that load times may be faster too, because as I understand it the patched games read data from the base and substitute where needed from patch directories (which requires more computing).

GOG really needs to get moving here, there is no excuse why people who paid higher price, often preordered on good faith, get a crappy patch potsoup and new buyers who come late and pay late get the all convenient single click thing.

No sir, the base game is still 1.10 and it's been ages. GOG should release a new 1.30 base game including latest versions of the DLCs and the two expansions.

Now read again what MarkoH01 said. The game IS updated. There was no mention by MarkoH01 of the base installers.

Hickory: Now read again what MarkoH01 said. The game IS updated. There was no mention by MarkoH01 of the base installers.
That's his point though.. he's saying they SHOULD update the base installers to the latest version so that people don't have to install various patches.

Would it be difficult to unlock the GOTY edition for people who own the base game plus all the expansions? I think this would be nice :)
