kenny78: i'm not ashamed to say i pirate games as well.
for certain games, even if i pirate it, if it's not to my liking, i'll uninstall it in an hour, for games without a demo at least.
for me, i tried out the evil within, not sure how it pans out with the complains and all, i tried it and bought it within half an hour, season pass and all, can't be that bad eh? (on another note, the executioner DLC is out :D)
I was very hyped about DA:I, I thought it was going to be THE game, but, after playing it for around an hour, it just... didn't work, something was missing, it was a dull game.
And I was very close to buy it.
six-: There is no difference between pirated saves and official ones.
What matters is patches and dlc but afaik they are all forward compatible so should cause no problems.
Assuming you pirated the gog version(as it would be stupid to go and get a crack for a drm free game) it should just be to download and patch everything from your library or install galaxy and add your pirated game to it's list and let it autoupdate everything.
And yay for a pirate seeing the light that is gog!
GoG isn't a reason to stop piracy but it sure is a nice way to show the companies what we want.
I'm using the FTL (Fairlight) release, not sure if it's GOG or not.
