The way I see it, the big announcement on the June 2nd conference can be either:

1- The release date of the witcher 3

2- The witcher 2 console port will be confirmed

3- GOG.com will start selling AAA games. Much like steam, but with all the conveniences of a DRM free title.

4- Work for the witcher 2 EE is in progress.

5- A combination of all the above.

what do you guys think ?

skylineR390: 1- The release date of the witcher 3
The release of Witcher 2 changed several times, so I think they know better than to start putting arbitrary release dates out there, especially when there's so much W2 patching that still needs done.

Maybe, but didn't they say it would be a whole new game? Maybe I'm not remembering that right. I'd still say that this is the most likely one.

No publisher would ever agree to this. Never ever ever. They're too paranoid about pirates and the secondhand market to give up on DRM, and I doubt GOG has enjoyed dealing with the hassles of releasing a new game.

They would need to have cataloged all of the bugs and criticisms and come up with ways to iron them out for that to happen. I doubt there's been enough time for that to be a possibility.
1) You have to announce a game before announcing the release date...

2) Console port has already been more or less confirmed as one of the announcements.

3) No..they've said they're open to it but that sort of thing would take years to build up.

4) An EE isn't necessary.
Most likely the console port. Maybe more DLC? Expansion even? Though this might be too soon to start talking about expansions and such.
don't they have a game that isn't related to witcher at all? or are they saving that announcement for e3?

either way, witcher 3 and ee are still way off. this isn't ubisoft or activision shitting out a game every 6 months.
I would expect:

1. Discussion of sales numbers for TW2

2. Patch plan, as well as announcements on upcoming DLC

3. Confirmation of console port

non-witcher game announcement.
titles to be released on gog.
witcher 2 support plan.
-OK, the console port will be confirmed. Thats unquestionable.

-GOG, will most certainly announce the release of a new "modern" game, maybe more than one.....

Of these I'm sure. The rest, well, I'm speculating, but I have a hunch.....
CDP Red Side
1- Support plans for The Witcher 2, DLC and Expansion(s)
2- Announcement of a non Witcher game, my bets are on "They" FPS for console and PC. A Development studio they bought was making this game and they put them to work on Witcher 2 and put "They" on hold. One of the founders said they would like to go back to that project.

GoG- Side
1- Lucas Arts classic games catalog being added.
The Witcher 3 is already done, shipping the next week.
i could thibk about

1)some celebrations about TW2 selling numbers and critics reviews, thx to the gog users support on pre orders etc.

2) console port confirmed

3) Future plans of CDP RED, TW2 support and upcoming patches and DLCs

4) Maybe the annoucement of the first TW2 expansion.

5) Lucasarts games catalog added to gog
I think they'll announce that their forum will now have email notification of replies. :)
Maybe i'm selfish, but the ONLY things I want to hear about are Witcher DLCs, expansions, and sequels for PC. I don't care about anything else.

The game for the new generation of gamers! Autoplay feature makes me ROFLMAO!
its pretty obvious what theyre going to announce

the forum will be back online within the next 3 months. that is all.

honestly though, the only thing i want, is fixes. many a developer often opt for 'fluff' like dlc and such, before their ORIGINAL game is working properly. i want to see a fixed inventory system and fixes to combat (especially the blocking system), and better performance, before they start stuffing around and getting sidetracked with dlc content.
