So I put the two files into my CookedPC folder, loaded my save at the elf chick, but no new option. Does it only work if I start a new game or something or I'm thinking maybe I missed a step somewhere? :P

What do you mean by this?

Is Geralt a peeping Tom, or what ? :)

Stumpy: So I was thinking... What exactly is the difference between the Australian version and the Rest of the World one? Here it is:

Just unpack this into your The Witcher 2 folder (do stat the.dzip files are in the CookedPC folder) and you should be good. :)
Could you re-upload the file to another host by anything chance? I can't download it here (Singapore) for some reason.

When you're stealthily escaping a dungeon, good manners are the last thing you think about gathering strategic information about the surroundings ;-)

You win 100 internets.

Wait. I was under the impression that even in the original version you can't bonk the Queen after saving her. (OK fine, "baroness", sue me already)

You can't However she is bare-breasted in the scene, and there were concerns that she might be censored.

Also, your lawyer will hear from my lawyer.
Hmm, well this is odd. I have the Steam version of the game (downloaded using non-Australian servers, since it wasn't available on them at the time) and I appear to have the uncensored version. I haven't tested the Succubus, but I was able to accept sex, and see the cutscene, from the elf woman I rescued from the fire in Act 2.

Maybe I was just lucky to be fast enough to grab this version? Or is it a loophole to download the game from, say, a US or Japan server (which is what I used)?

Yeah, I got my version through Steam and I was able to have sex with the elven woman I saved, and the succubus. Not sure why my version wasn't censored - but then after seeing how little it affects the story I'm not sure why the ACB got all worked up to begin with... You get to see more of Triss in the pool...

shane-o: I'm guessing slayer5985 means the part where you see the topless chained up woman
When does this happen? During the prologue part?
Why should we have to patch a downloaded game!!!!?

If I bought it from a store in australia I would understand the alteration. If I bought it online it should be ONE version. And from replies to this thread this isn't a complete fix it would seem.

Any chance we can swap for the us version?

Because of the law?

Depending on where your location was set to when you purchased, you could have gotten whatever version you wanted. If you screwed that up and got the edited version, well... you're commenting on a thread about a patch that supposedly restores the lost content (and if it doesn't work, there will undoubtedly be others). Not understanding the apparent shock in your post.

that 'law' doesn't apply to games that we import or buy from non-australian stores so it should NOT apply to games that we buy via the internet from another country.

yes, this topic about a patcher to undo the censorship, but the problem is that it shouldn'tt have happened in the first place. i'm sick of our government telling me what i can and can't see or play. if i want to play a game where i get sex as a reward then i damn well should be able to. i'm 18+ so **** off government. it'a almost enough to make me move to another country. I didn't even know they were editing this for Australia due to intentionally ignoring all Witcher 2 news about a month before it's release in order to avoid any spoilers. So after I finish my first playthrough I decide to the Wiki (still avoiding the Plot section to dodge future playthrough spoilers) and I read this "On May 3, 2011, Namco Bandai confirmed that the Australian release of the game would contain a minor edit to meet the MA15+ rating". This came as quite a surprise as I had actually asked EBgames (where I pre-ordered my CE) if Australia's version would be edited and the said it wouldn't be. I actually did both the quests that were edited out and found it quite weird that Geralt declined immediately.

TL;DR: I hate Australian censorship and, now, my local EBgames.

Oh and thank you OP for the patch, much appreciated, will install for my third playthrough (halfway through second now so cant be bothered)
Hi can some one upload the patch again rapidshare have removed the file and it can no longer be downloaded.
Thanks
