Corylea: The downloadable copy of the Han fix IS there; I just downloaded it again, to be sure. Just click on the "Files" tab then on the "Han Gives Han."

crackedegg: I meant that I could not get the actual mod, because I could only get links to or [url=http://tw1.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=24609.0;wap2]here, which have not existed since just before TW2 came out.
The actual mod IS at Witcher Nexus. I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Go here and download it: http://www.witchernexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32

That I had been trying to find that mod since before it was on the Nexus. Prior to being on the Nexus, the only source appeared to be the official forums, which either gave a 404, or list of game patches, making it effectively unavailable.

Ah! Got it, now. That wasn't at all clear to me before; thanks for clarifying.
What HAS happened to the official forums, anyway?

DarkZephyr: What HAS happened to the official forums, anyway?
They took the forum down on May 12 in order to revamp it to prepare for the release of TW2. The forum was supposed to come back up on May 15th but didn't. The CDPR guys haven't told me any more than they've told the rest of the community, so I don't know what's wrong or when the forum will be back.

Sorry I don't have any inside information to share.

I wasn't looking for any special inside information, just general information as I haven't been in the loop, and couldn't seem to find the answer on Google. So despite their not telling you anything extra, you did have more insight into what is going on than I do, so I thank you for sharing it with me! :)
Don't worry, official forum will be back soon :)

In meantime, I asked for placing link to Witcher Nexus on the official site.
http://www.en.thewitcher.com/community/
Thanks for helping spread the word guys, and the link on the official site is very much appreciated, Bonsai :)

As I've told Bonsai in private the site is doing "OK", not badly, not brilliantly, but "OK". I think the fact TW1 is a couple of years old, TW2 doesn't have an SDK yet and there are no official forums right now is gimping the modding community at this point in time but I'm hopeful that once the official forums are back we'll have a centralised location for discussions and things will progress quicker from then-onwards.

Having said that the site is getting about 17,000 unique visitors a day (e.g. individuals) and about 110,000 page views, so it's not terrible, but I think it could be better :)

Keep uploading your mods as and when you can and we'll move on from there.

Normally we interview the top "File of the Month" winner each month and post it up on the site. I'm not going to run the File of the Month for May as it's a bit too early (half a month, only a handful of mods..) so instead I'll look at interviewing a couple of the TW1 modders in the community :)
