Hi, I got a genuine copy of the witcher 1 enhanced edition but the second disc is missing. the friend who gave me the game got it in Kazakhstan but there is no CD key or product key. It seems this copy doesn't need one to install. I would very much like to obtain the second disc legally without having to go through every store in SA that doesn't have the game and buy a full set. Can anyone assist me?

You can go to this site and follow the instructions to get a CD key that you can use here. However, it may take some time for them to respond.

I am sorry, I misunderstood your question and do not know how you can get the second disk. However, you can use the CD key to get a digital version of the game which you then can download and save on a USB stick or burn onto a CD yourself.

I hope that you still found this message helpful.

If you really want a physical copy, the easiest and best course of action would be to just check on ebay and purchase a new set, The Witcher is frequently offered there, and a lot of the time pretty much for smallchange, too.
I'm not sure there's much else one could suggest here, except, of course, to just buy a digital copy on Gog and be done with it ;)
Thnx Xerafex
. Apologies for my spelling and long awaited reply. Turns out that site you suggested replies faster than I do. After 2 business days they sent me my code. I have been downloading a part every day on the wi-fi network at work and I am going to start part 7 tomorrow. Just a shame that I've finished The Witcher 2 on at least three different outcomes. Now I'll have to start it again after finishing no 1. I'm annoying that way.
Bad news. After all that time downloading I have nothing to show. The installer asks me to select the location where part 6 is located. I have down so but the installer insists that it is not there. I then tried to install by double clicking on part 6 but receive a message that the file is not compatible with the version of windows that I'm running. Any advice?

You could try to download the game with the GOG Downloader which would download the entire installer in only one file. However, you need to install the GOG Downloader and I don't know if that is a possibility in your case.
