Senteria: The gameplay of dreamfall was probably pretty disappointing for point & click adventurers. However I did not mind it. I liked the story a lot until the end. Though I guess it is a pretty strong ending.

OlausPetrus: The most disappointing part in the gameplay aren't the action sequences or awful keyboard controls which some point & click adventurers hate. The disapointing part is that occasionally gameplay is very thin and you can easily spend an hour just by walking around and watching cutscenes. Story was great, but there just wasn't enough interaction to make it as great game as TLJ. While I love good stories, I also love a good challenge in the form of puzzles. Hopefully this time Ragnar doesn't forget that he is making a game and not an interactive movie.
Good point. Now that you mention it, I don't remember a whole lot of puzzles. Mostly stealth missions, beating opponents and talking to people.

In this interview Ragnar says that he wants to fix biggest issues which Dreamfall had in Dreamfall Chapters. There will be no combat and he wants to add more gameplay than Dreamfall had. It sounds rather promising.
