UK_John: I disagree with the pizza, I think that was put in to show April's new confidence. A lot of Chapters 11 and 12 I felt were to remind you how far April had come from that young, shy, indecisive teenager!

Ghorpm: That's not what I'm complaining about. It's clear that April changed a lot during the journey. But how come 'Jerry' was deceived so easily? That was far-fetched for my taste. I also didn't like the thing with the shadow and monkey but there it was at least clearly indicated that Freddie Melon is a complete imbecile. I was rather expecting that April would rather manipulate Gerald's vanity to enter the building. That would be perfectly justified.
It's not just in TLJ where you can just leave the room and re-enter for time to pass. Oblivion and Skyrim, for instance, or The Witcher 2! I may be wrong, but also wasn't the Pizza part of the choice, but it was just interesting winding the doorman up?
