I just downloaded the game, and it crashes every time I started it. :(
I thought we were supposed to be getting the special edition of the game, and yet I only have the regular season pass.

I was under the impression that the Special Edition content is the bonus content? It seems that Red Thread have been really focussing their efforts on releasing the game itself, and that the bonus content will be coming soon.
I think the backers of the lowest tiers will get the "special edition rewards" (soundtrack, artbook, etc.) in their Humble Store account (they're not there yet though).

Special Content will be available on Humble Bundle for backers once everything is synced. RTG programmer wrote a nice FAQ on RTG forum, I recommend to read it.

Well I feel terrible now for sending them an email.
Hi,

What does it take to play this game? I keep reading about Unity. Do I need the full Unity or just the Player? I have a high end system with IE 11, DX 11 and I have installed Unity Player. I game crashes just after the intro. material. Please give me some feed back. So far support has not given me a solution.
Too bad they gave the extras to the backers only on humble store. The natural thing to do is to give the special edition with every key, GOG and Steam, so that backers will have all the content in a convenient place. There is no actual reason not to do that.
I've not dabbled with season passes when it comes to games much. Would I be understanding correctly in that purchasing the game now would ensure getting the rest of the books for free? Or does it work somewhat differently than that?

Thanks for any answers!

They don't sell the books separately. When you buy season pass you'll get all five books (Only the first book is available at the moment, but you may download rest of the books when those are finished).

Thanks, that answers my question. I thought I'd better make sure this was the case considering how some other devs have handled episodic content in the past and are continuing to do so today. Good to read they're going at it this way, I'll definitely pick it up at some point before the rest of the books are out now. =)
Where is book Five? How long do we wait for it?

They haven't given any date yet, not even a month. They DID say "spring" and April is actually a good guess... :)

(Don't mind my reputation value... it's just gamergate nazis running amok)
