It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Looking at https://trello.com/b/d4Sc7iZk/the-colonists-help-patch-notes it seems like Steam got several new versions already. Fixes do not seem to be Steam specific. When can we expect those updates do be available for GoG customers?

I know that it's not GoG's fault, but the developer has to provide updates. I hope the developer follows the forum. (But then the Changelog thread doesn't even match the last available GoG version).

There doesn't seem to be a way of communicating with the developers directly, http://thecolonistsgame.com/ only lists a Twitter account.
I am quite late, but if you want to contact the developer, you can find an e-mail address here. http://codebyfire.com/
It is rare that developers find their way into the subforums here, as far as I'm aware, so that would be your safest bet (if you're still interested after months).

The offline installer version is currently 1.3.0.8, but there are no changelogs (last one is for version 1.2.0.1), so I don't know what was changed/added.

To be honest, I was hoping someone from GOG would read this and nag the developer to push updates to GOG ;-)
If at some point customers cannot be sure any more that updates will flow to GOG the same way they flow to other platforms, this will be a serious issue. So IMO it's GOGs job to make sure updates flow.

I have some bad news for you.

You can also contact GOG support about issues like this. Or staff happens to notice posts. *points at blue* :)

The Colonists is not listed there anymore and according to GOGdb it has been updated repeatedly & recently.

Hi, The Colonists developer here, just a FYI to say that all version updates to Steam make it to GOG as well. You can also find the full release notes for the updates on the game's wiki here: https://codebyfire.com/colonists/wiki/index.php/Patch_Notes

Thanks!
