I have the original CD's of 7th guest. Which is not a bad game. This game was one of the first games on CD. Just wondering if any one else has them. I have the original release and the updated version that was released later.

Yes, I have the original CD's for both The 7th Guest and The 11th Hour. I've gotten 7th Guest to work on my W7 PC, so I haven't picked up the GOG version, but 11th Hour is very tedious to get running using DOSBox, so I'm thinking seriously about getting the GOG version IF it runs smoothly without too much trouble.

I love 7th Guest, bought when it was new, and have played it 3 times now. I only found a copy of 11th Hour on eBay a year or 2 ago, but, it is so tiresome to get running, I've only played about 1/4th of the way through so far.
I have the originals of both games tucked up safely on my shelf but still picked up both games on gog as soon as they were released.

Installed the gog version on my Windows 7 x64 machine and I was able to jump straight in playing and all runs perfectly.

Thanks for the info, raverdave2k! Bought!
Yup, my copies is actually originals from when both games came out! I even have a copy of Uncle Henry's Playhouse, but never did get around to getting Clandestiny.
I still have mine, hell I may have the original manual lying around somewhere. I've used those CD's to get The 7th Guest running on my Cannoo and Wii. Still a great game to this day.
Yes I got the 7th Guest CD, it was my first game ever, together with Myst, Loom and a few more games, forgot the names of those. They came for free with my first PC. Ah, nostalgia... that is why for once I did not wait for a promotion, but purchased the series at their full price. Sweet memories!
I own both 7th Guest and 11th Hour (in its original retail box!) on CD-ROM. Haven't purchased the GOG versions yet because they work quite well in DOSBox/ScummVM. Maybe I'll grab them for convenience during a promo.
I picked up the special edition (T7G) box at a Good Will a few years ago for $5. It still had all of the extras in it as well. I can post pics if you guys like.

Still have mine
I distinctly remember having to put the game CDs into a caddy, which then was inserted into the CD-ROM drive.
IIRC, there were two CDs. The first one contained the majority of the game, while on the second CD there was only a short final segment and the entire soundtrack. I remember the pause of a few seconds it took for the disc to spin up in the drive if it wound down after a minute of idleness; annoyed the heck out of me.
I have the originals for T7G, but trying to set it up on SCUMM was a major pain, and even then some music was missing. The GOG version is much more convenient to use (although apparently it's missing a door animation, but whatever).
I have them, hell they were actually still shrink wraped up till around 05 when I found it. Tried to install it and run it... problem was it was not really possible to get it running in 05. I did not have the knowledge needed to do so.
So the CDs never really got used.
I have both games in their original form, I bought 11th Hour back in the 90's and the 4 discs come in a cool package, I actually have the special edition of the 7th Guest that comes with a VHS tape called "The Making of the 7th guest", of course I no longer own a VHS player so it's there for collectible purposes only. Two of the best games ever!!
