PrincessMilissa: I have the original CD's of 7th guest. Which is not a bad game. This game was one of the first games on CD. Just wondering if any one else has them.
Yes I ahve the original, as I do with a number of games on GOG as I was brought up in that era (I even have original games on 5.25inch Disks) !

I always buy them on GOG when they come up because they just work, but for the ones not on GOG, I've been thinking of making a virtual box version of Dos, Windows 3.11 and Windows 98 to see if I can play some of them again.

I hope you have a digital backup of them or do you still have a working 5.25" reader?

I was looking on eBay for a 5.25 inch drive. To be fair some are on both 5.25 and 3.5 and I have USB 3.5 inch drive.

I have managed to make a several Virtual Machines including:
MSDOS
Windows 3.1
Windows 3.11
and Windows 98

Let the games begin :-)
I've got the original CDs.

Before I played the game for the first time I ran up to my bedroom and put disc 2 in my CD player, closed my eyes, and fell in love with the soundtrack.
I still have them both never could get the 7th Guest to work properly on my win 95 Machine think it was a problem with the sound set up and I had no idea about computers or how to get it working but, the 11th Hour ran ok.
The problem was that even with the instructions it just confused me so I gave up in the end.
I bought both of them again on GOG as I thought now I am 20 years older perhaps I might be more intelligent (according to my wife it's just the opposite).
I haven't tried them yet but looking forward to it.
So far I have:

Original cd release of 7th guest.

Steam version of 7th guest (has awesome extras and the making of video, no drm, etc.)

steam version of 11th hour. (No DRM on this game either, has the script as a pdf, and other things.)

Yup still have my 2cd version back from 1993. I treasure it, really.
Add gog version of 7th to my list, amazon download versions of both 7th and 11th hour. (Both are still drm free on amazon.)
I have both games in original boxes and different versions. The one boxed with the VHS and one that was marked for Windows 95. Never had much luck getting them to run so I set up Dosbox on my XP machine and was able to play. I picked up the GOG versions for the one click install. I am now trying to get them going on my new Windows 10 machine and am having issued with 11th Hour.
Like another poster, es, I also still have both games of the series and boxed as well (somerwhere, lol).

I have the originals from 7th Guest, 11th Hour, and Clandestiny, but I lost my copy of Uncle Henry's Playhouse...
I think I loaned it to a friend and never saw them again!
And now that 7th Guest is no longer in the GOG store (?!?!) I do not have high hopes for Uncle Henry's appearing either.
:(

Clandestiny is no longer in the store either!!
O.o
