also a question to noir fans.

i never played the game before and it looked it was hard to play so i never bought it.
Today i had some money to buy a gog game and i saw this game for very cheap price and i have to say i wish i bought it sooner, first i red the manual and tried the starting clues it was in there and the more i explored the more i had the feeling being a badass detective in a noir world and loving it, i have to say i havent tried manual flying the car and using the codes to auto pilot to the area but i have to know is it a must to learn to fly manual? i hope not because i wouldnt know how it works have to say i had to get know the controls but the help screen is very helpful and i make notes for new locations and important information. All and all have to say its a great addicting noir game.
the irony is it is thabks to fall out 4 that got me interested in noir games.

Does anyone know more noir games. books, movies i have to see as spmeone interested in noir genre.

Well, obviously you must check the rest of Tex Murphy's adventures, Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive, and [url=http://www.gog.com/game/tesla_effect_a_tex_murphy_adventure]Tesla Effect here on GOG and probably Gemini Rue and Grim Fandango (also on GOG).

Other non-GOG noir games that you might enjoy are Blade Runner, Face Noir and Discworld Noir.
I've totally stolen this list from Wikipedia, but they come highly recommended (if you don't mind B&W movies):

The Maltese Falcon
Shadow of a Doubt
Laura
Double Indemnity
Mildred Pierce
The Lost Weekend
Detour
Gilda
The Big Sleep
The Killers
Notorious
Out of the Past
Force of Evil
The Naked City
White Heat

And of course you've seen Blade Runner (if not, start there)?

You can finish the game without having to fly your speeder manually. I was never able to fly it manually and have finished the game several times. However, if I remember correctly, if you run out of money you may need to manually go to a warehouse and fight your way to get cash. Or you can just sell more stuff and "bribe" less often.
thanks all for the info i see ill be busy for a long time :)
