I Can't get the anchor. I've dug the hole, climbed the tree and gotten thrown out. But I don't have the dollar and can't find it.

Did you pick up diving equipment from the scarecrow? Anchor is in the water near the boat.
You'll need both the anchor and the rope to get dollar.
Anyway, when having more troubles, there is always a walkhtrough ;)

you just have to use the equipment next to the lake and then our hero will dive for a couple seconds. anchor is on the left side of the screen.

And well, you've got to be pretty quick - if you don't click on the anchor very soon after you start your dive, you'll fail to pick it up and have to get wet again ;)

You need to get the bulb, and a spring from the bed. Than use the crates couple of times and they'll bring you food. Use cable on the food and use crates again. When he'll come put the light on and get the key out of his body:D

I've looked at the walkthrough and am stuck in the cellar without a light switch next to the ladder. Is there a trick to finding the switch?

You have to go out and Close the door to the cellar and open it again. Switch should be on it's place:)

Examine the tool box the second time. You should get the spanner out of it and the tool box should disappear.

Righto, I haven't seen this problem yet. I am in the mansion and have managed to find the secret compartment in the book shelf, but have never seen a dictaphone or anything else in any of the desk drawers. I have already done lots of stuff including demoralize the chef and surprise the Eskimo, but I can't get any further without the dictaphone and the other thing I am supposed to get (what is it?) from the desk. But there's nothing in the drawers! Help?
