I Can't get the anchor. I've dug the hole, climbed the tree and gotten thrown out. But I don't have the dollar and can't find it.

I can't get the anchor. As soon as I dive, I right click on the anchor, but then the mouse dissapears and the character swins right by it without pickin it. When he comes out of the water says something about not being able to talk underwater. Is this a bug or I am doing anything wrong? HELP!
