Updated to StarCrawlers v1.1.4.1 - Big Beautify Update

StarCrawlers has been updated with a Beautify feature! This optional feature enhances texture fidelity and sharpness, lighting appearance and effects, and enhances visuals overall. In the course of working on our next project (more news soon!) we experimented with retroactively applying the visual upgrades to StarCrawlers - and it worked :D

The Beautify feature should not have any noticeable impact on the performance or resource usage of the base game. Beautify is enabled by default and can be turned off in the Graphics menu if desired.

UPDATED 04 May 2020
1. Bloom option is now linked to Beautify. You can disable Bloom effects while keeping the other visual enhancements from Beautify.
2. Fixed unintentional graphic glitch when entering Hacking mode using Beautify.
3. Reduced Bloom sensitivity for certain very bright combat effects (Flashbang / Hotlink / etc)

Stay safe, wash your hands, keep crawling. May the 4th be with you.

Ok then. Testing time :3
Any chance of keeping prior patch notes in place, and simply adding to them, instead of overwriting them each time?

You can see the full changelog notes here.
So for those of us who don't use Galaxy, how do we get the May 26 Hotfix?

As I just experienced, you have to downlod all the installer of teh game, again.
I'd like some word from the developers if the hotfix is compatible with existing saves. And they need to put it up as a patch file on GOG, if so.

Yup - no patches will invalidate your saves. The final build for Linux is compiling now, it will be up on all platforms soon.

Out of curiosity, how long does it take for a build to compile?

Roughly 4 - 5 hours for all PC/OSX/Linux versions. It locks me out of doing any coding so I troll forums and bug hunt :D
How do we download the new May 29 patch? The only patch I see available for download is the older 5.25 hotfix. I have the PC version. Thanks.

I opened Galaxy, selected More and then Manage Installation, and then Repair/Fix. It ran the proper update then.

I don't have Galaxy. Are you saying we can't get patches without installing that? If so, I'm not buying games from GOG anymore.

Don't put words into my mouth bub. I simply told you the easiest way to do it that worked for me. Stop overreacting.
