tinyE: That link isn't valid anymore.

I mentioned this in another thread but the person who just gave it to you now was to busy telling people in that same thread not to use the link. :P

Right, you should contact the support and tell them about your problem, perhaps they'll be able to help you with a file of their own.
+1 for having a sense of humor. XD

I say with KOTOR 2, as much as I love it, do ANYTHING it takes to get working because even it's most ardent fans will admit it has its share of bugs.

Right now I'm on M478 and the FPS in the Industrial Zone is killing me.

The hardcore fans are the first to admit that... it's what gives the games its charm... sort of.
Oh wow, this freaking Industrial Zone killed me.
You're running the game on the highest settings, 1080p and everything, it is as smooth as never before and then you enter M4-78 and it sucks the passion and fun out of you, because of its terrible performance! It's fun, though.

"Q. Slow performance in the Industrial Zone.
A. If you experience this, try turning down graphics for the duration of this map. Also make sure the Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 fix is in your swkotor2.ini under [Graphics Options]!"

Yeah I have all the newest patches and everything, but how does the Disable Vertex fix work? Is that something I'm supposed to add? That page is a little vague.
well, poo! spent the last ten days moving into a different apartment but might be able to try now to complete the end. (only got about 36 boxes left to unpack)

Hope you get that straightened out TinyE

Oh I'm fine. I finished the droid planet, again, days ago, I was just hoping for a fix or I might remove that addition for future play throughs.

I don't know how it works myself but when I checked my .ini file it was already there but they suggest adding it if it is not already there and another issue I've seen people report was that it was like this DisableVertexBufferObjects=1 without the spaces between the words. It should be Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1 instead otherwise people were reporting significant framerate slowdowns.

I added it. Problem is I won't know if it works until I start a new game and play it through to the planet. :D
