I can't seem to figure out why, but for some reason Bridge Commander is running at an extremely choppy 10fps, I've tried a few things, like checking to see if Vsync was screwing it up, setting it to compatbility mode, etc etc, but otherwise I can't quite figure out why it's running so badly, anyone else have this problem and know of a fix?
Same here :-/
Me too :(

Also seem to be only able to choose my Intel integrated graphics, not my card.

Same here! Was really looking forward to playing an old classic that I have fond memories of... But even now with much newer hardware, I'm getting anything around 20 fps, if even... Unplayable to say the least...

System Info: Ryzen 7 3700X + RTX 2070 Super, on Windows 10 64Bit
Same here.

Intel i5-7400 / AMD RX 580 / Windows 10

Same framerate (10-ish) regardless of HIGH or LOW settings or resolution.

Have you tried disabling your integrated card within the OS somehow?

For the rest, does switching the game files' location to an SSD help? All of you having integrated and/or AMD cards does not bode well either...

I've only got SSDs in my computer, so it's already on there. And an RTX 2070 Super is certainly not integrated :P The R7 3700X doesn't have an iGPU either

€dit: I've contacted support on the matter. hope they can help somehow!

I think I got it.

Right click on stbc.exe and set Windows XP SP2 compatibility and run as administrator.

Running at higher framerate now.

Your fix worked for me, thank you :)
I managed to fix this by moving the game folder from a hard drive to an SSD. Might not work for everyone but worth a try!

I just tried this and the game is still really choppy.
Same here... running a Lenovo Legion Laptop with RTX 2060. Shouldn't be this bad. Don't have many graphics options, either.

Right click settings exactly as this.

Other than that I don't know. I got it running 1280x1024 on HIGH settings. I'm also using GOG Galaxy to launch it.

Edit: Oh yeah, I'm not running any mods. Strictly vanilla.

Tried that, doesn't work for me. I'm running vanilla as well since this is the first time I'm playing Bridge Commander (outside of the demo of BC a long time ago).

Edit: The only thing that isn't vanilla that I'm using is dgVoodoo which works fine since the widescreen mod irks me with how it screws with the UI.

Thank you! Had tried all night to get this working again. I edited my config file which ended up preventing the game from launching at all until I deleted it.

Now working smoothly running as admin on XP SP2 compatability!
