There are news concerning the upcoming expansion of Star Ruler 2 !
It will be named "Wake of the Heralds" and should be out the 22 of April (yes, in less than one week ! :D)
You can see the news (and future news) on the official developer's site, and devs said that there will be regularly more news concerning it.

Oh by the way, you should ask GOG staff to give you the orange color of typing in forums: they introduced this to show who is a developer of a game sold on GOG :)
And I must say I'm really happy to see the expansion finally coming. I remember seeing somewhere that your studio was having very hard time... I hope it will improve even a little the situation for you all : you're doing an excellent work. Star Ruler 2 is one of my favorite space 4X (despite few flaws like lacks of explanations in certain things for example).

Edit : I received an answer yesterday : they'll do their best to launch the game the same day on GOG :D (with a cautious warning saying that "there may be delay", which I understand totally :))

Very excited for the expansion. I really loved in the base game how very different each race is and the game style connected with that. I remember when you started the dlc it looked more like skin content but this is real expansion dlc. Definitely getting it.

Really looking forward to getting this and supporting the team behind it !

I was a little disconcerted at first to see the update on Steam but not here, now I just need to Summon Patience (a very difficult spell I generally fumble, unfortunately).

definitely looking forward to this expansions release on GOG.
Hoping the delay will allow for a few bugs to be crushed,and more of the secret techs to be discovered.

Yep. Some bugfixes and tweaks will be included with the version that goes up on GOG.

Regards to the above: Unfortunately, we were a bit preoccupied trying to win the game and run the stream so we didn't really get to explain much about how it all works.

Tom Chick did about 5 hours of play on the Expansion a few nights ago if you're hungry for some explanation more than just seeing how it plays.

Part 2 goes more into the expansion than the first, where Tom is playing with the new Heralds race.
