Same problem here, across multiple Mac`s. Did anyone at GOG test this DMG prior to release? Have contacted GOG support and will just need to wait and see or refund, especially if I am simply ignored...

It don't look like this. It pretty frustration.

In the frictional games forum a admin wrote this

Can confirm that there is something wrong with the soma_2.1.0.3.dmg, it seems to be missing files or have some permission problem/can't find the files properly. I've asked GOG to look into it so hopefully this can be resolved tomorrow.

You should test the DMG, prior to release it`s common sense to do so, and not inconvenience your customers. Please be so kind as to respond to the forum once this issue is corrected, I for one do not want to keep downloading 11Gb only to find myself back here with issues...

Just looked at the download from GOG, still the same DMG with missing/corrupt file 2.1.0.3, they should at least take this version off line until the "new build" out or this thread is simply going to get longer...

Agreed - I can't be bothered to wait for a new version, requested a refund.
GOG, you shouldn't be selling this game in its current state.

new builds should be live now.
There is also "GOG version fix" on your shelf - it's a patch that should fix your version to a working state.

Any plan for a new "fixed" DMG? opposed to a fix for a bad install, am confident the majority of us would prefer this solution, especially new customers...

We reuploaded the DMG file with the fix so you have a fixed DMG for the entire game :) We offered the patch for those who'd just rather update their Mac version to a playable state and then download the fixed DMG :)

I was the one who personally uploaded and cleared our CDN's version of that file so I know for a fact it's a fixed version :)

We usually do change installer numbers for normal updates but this one was an exception. In any case, the DMG you see up there now is a fixed and working DMG :)
